I actually searched KZbin for this piece played on pipe organ. I wonder what Doug Ingle would think?

Ever since *that* scene, I've wondered if this song could really be fully played on a church organ. Thank you for this.

Organ and drums, the most key instruments to this song. The guitar and bass are good, but it's the organ and drums that give it its soul

Frederick Swann played an entire Bach recital for my wedding in 1969 in Riverside Church. Riverside was alive and the Bach was on fire that day. I let it be known of the specific Bach works that I wanted him to play, which he played so beautifully.

This was wonderful, Carol, thank you so much. As an amateur organist and organ case crawler, I am a full fledged organ-nut. I am also a hobbyist woodworker, so as you might imagine, I watched this twice. ❤

We as organists just take this all for granted! We have great faith when we sit to play that it's all going to work. 😮

@zimbelstern62, That's very true! We hope for the clarity of the sound aka the acoustics of where the organ is placed and we can only hope that everything is connected properly and functions at a flawless level!

Very cool Dig the black and white film. Definitely adds to the vibe. Like the original Carnival of Souls. Almost could be a scene out of that movie. I like the Dr. Phibes/Vincent Price horror thing. So you know where I am coming from

Sad to say that organ building is becoming a dying art in the UK and organists as rare as hens' teeth. I hope things are more hopeful in the USA. You certainly have some magnificent instruments out there!
