Yes so protocol is to alternate between hot and cold to open and close the vessel. We don't want to rush in with dissolver unless these steps don't work as hyaluronidase can be damaging to the natural lip tissue.

Its regulated in Australia which we have to be a nurse first before doing cosmetics injectables which sucks.
@lindsayowensaesthetics7 күн бұрын
It's crazy because I think by training to become a nurse and then leaving to do aesthetics surely that takes up space from someone who genuinely wants to be a nurse. There should be alternatives for sure! x

It really varies depending on what brand and thickness of filler has been used and which are and how long it's been there.

My manufacturer advises to mix 9ml NaCl with 1ml (1500 IU) ! Read the papers of the product! And I question that she drew 10 IU with the syringe. 0.1 ml of 2ml 1500 IU is … 75 IU

I’m guessing you’re in a different country using a different product as in the UK we go by iu not AU as you’re saying. Always go by manufacturer guidelines.

hi Lindsay thank you so much for this video. I've been looking everywhere for the best guide and how and where to start. I am so glad I came across your video. I just have one quick question. At the beginning you talked about the CPD courses, and on the end of this video you explained it's not necessary to take CPD courses. so which course would you suggest to dive in first? is it the APC 2days course you were explaining about? thank you
@lindsayowensaestheticsАй бұрын
Hey hun, so with regulation now coming in everyone will need to be doing government regulated qualifications so I recommend doing your levels 3-7 otherwise you’ll waste your money on CPD courses and have to pay all over again x

Hi Lindsay, hope youre well. thank you so much your video really helped me. im a beauty practitioner and i did few courses which are CPD. i was thinking to do dental nursing courses to be qualified as medic side and my level 7 also, the only question i have is it necessary to study dental nursing after getting my level 7?

Hey ❤ so no one actually knows for sure what’s happening yet but check with your insurance company because as far as I know dental nurses are not classed as medics and if things do change you might do all that training for nothing but I definitely recommend doing the level 7 anyway x

Hi, I recently got my lips done about a month and a half ago. Immediately after the procedure my bottom lip had white splotches on the lower corners on the lip. My injector told me it is nothing to worry about and could just be an allergic reaction to the lidocaine she used. About two weeks after now, I’m noticing the lower part of my bottom lip has a paler color than usual. I went back to her for a follow up appointment and she told me there is nothing to worry about but didn’t have an answer or an explanation as to what could have caused this to happen. I did not have this prior to my injection. It is extremely upsetting and very frustrating to not have an answer. I’m not sure what to do now as my injector is telling me not to worry, but doesn’t know why it’s happening. Please if there is any help or advice you can offer me.
