It's such a shame that Wong Sifu doesn't get enough credit for training Bruce Lee. I train under one of his students, Philip Ng, and I totally see where Bruce was inspired to conceive Jeet Kune Do. My school's Wing Chun is so much more focused on practical technique, and fighting quickly and intelligently. Hell, we don't even learn weapons until a couple years into training, cuz you can't carry butterfly swords or a big-ass staff along with you everywhere.

Very impressive! Very fluid, and FAST! Wong Shun Leung's system is one of the best out there and this proves that point.

Whoever disliked this would get raped by Wong. Probably some meathead who likes to roll around on top of other men and calls it fighting.

I have just started Wing Chun aged 38. I love this video as it gives me confidence that I can be just as quick and powerful even into my later years. This older guy changed his stance more and moved from side to side more. The younger guy also awesome was a bit more rigid in his stance. ( what do I know right ) Excellent technique in trapping, speed, movement, power and understanding of angles. He must be a very good Sifu.

Age makes this guy faster !!! Its mind boggling but it proves what one can achieve by training and sticking to an art and going to extreme. In general: looking at videos in the net I ask myself -- If I invest > 20 years of my life learning a martial art do I want to move like this ? -- On philipps videos the answer is always a yes!
