Phil education 2023-2025 (2 years) Can they get positive skill assessment based on overseas education. If yes from where they get it and what will be the procedure. In this case can we claim 10 partner points?

If your partner has completed B.Ed general with 45 days Supervised Teaching Practice (as part of the course and having a separate certificate from the educational institute for the same), then your partner can go for the related School Teaching occupation's skills assessment based on this education history.

Yes, that is correct. They have changed the rule and no ROI required from offshore applicants for SA nomination process, only EOI to be submitted.

You can add your Australian qualification in your EOI directly only if it will be mentioning the AQF level on it, while you can add your Indian degree details in your EOI only after getting it assessed by the relevant assessing authority for your nominated occupation.

Dear sir, thank you for such a clear and informative video, Could you please advise? I have 12 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. I have been working in the same position for the same employer for 12 years. I started working with a Diploma in construction science from 2012 up to July 2022 when I completed a bachelor’s degree in construction management. VETASSESS gave me a positive skill assessment outcome. However, they only allocated 1.1(Less than 2 years) as a number of years assessed positively, indicating that the employment between 2012 and July 2022 does not follow a qualification at the required level in a highly relevant field. The employment between July 2022 and July 2023 was also not included as it was used to calculate the qualifying period required to meet the skill level of the nominated ANZSCO occupation. I have all documentation including a reference letter from my Employer confirming my 12 years of experience including detailed roles and responsibilities. How many years should I use in my EOI? Is it as per my employment history or as per VETASSESS? How many points should I expect? Is it 0 or 15? Please assist sir, I am confused.

If the JDs are common, you can submit a single employment reference letter mentioning the actual job designation history with start / end dates in this company. After graduation, I did one year internship + one year of NYSC (national service), before getting employed as a full time Pharmacist with the state government for 8 years now. Will the internship and NYSC year count as years of experience? If yes, it means I have to provide documents to back it up. Fortunately, I have my payslips during internship, but I did not get payslips during my NYSC and even the salary that was paid into the bank, I'm not longer using the bank. So should I remove the one year NYSC from my EOI? 2. I have two jobs, one as a hospital pharmacist, and as a community pharmacist and both occupations are nominated, both for 8 years now. The community pharmacy can be seen as a family business because the owner is my father who is late now, and I'm the one managing the business right now. So am I an employee now or the owner? We have CAC documents bearing me as the managing director. I don't have bank statement for the salary, so how do I get the tax clearance? Thank you sir as I await your response

1. Internship not claimable, however, not sure about the NYSC because it depends on its working hours (must be full-time) and JDs relevancy to the nominated occupation. Better to avoid both the internship and NYSC 2. If you can prove it as employment of the business (even as managing director) with relevant JDs to the nominated occupation, and you can substantiate your payment evidence by generating the pay slips and tax returns, then you can claim it as employment case in your EOI. Otherwise, you will have to go through the self-employment route

Very informative video. Just one question, i applied for Skills assessment for ACS on 15 Oct. I got my 189 invite on 7th Nov while waiting for outcome from ACS. The ACS outcome letter is same as the one we get once application is submitted to ACS and is the same i put in EOI. I was under the impression that outcome received within the time of invitation (60 days) is valid. Consulted with various agents and called DoHA itself who confirmed it should be fine as all the documents would be valid at the time of visa lodgement. Though some people say it''s risky. Can you please provide your 2 cents on this. Thank you

It would be risky, because having positive skills assessment is one of the mandatory prerequisites of submitting an EOI for the nominated occupation.

@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters with the new skills assessment format from ACS that goes theough further testing, they do confirm at the time of application that nominated occupation is eligible for positive assessment. This applies for when application is based on PY and degree, which ensures the positive outcome, given documents are genuine. Uncertain in case of assessment based on employment which is not my case. Do you think i should go ahead with my 189 visa application or let it expire and wait again for invitation? I already have my positive skills assessment.

You can submit multiple EOIs for different subclasses (190 and 491) for WA, ACT and NSW, whereas you should be submitting a single EOI each for other states for both 190 and 491. Other than these, you can submit a separate EOI for 189.

Hi there, I am trying to lodge Roi for SA. Its asking .. Is Partner seeking to migrate? Should i say yes or no My partner is onshore we both are on 485 visa bit she doesn’t have any english score or does not have any skill assessment and not even eligible for skill assessment. If I say No will she still get an invite with me or i have to tick yes so that we can both get invite and lodge the visa . Please reply.

You have to say Yes so that your partner is included in the visa application later once invited.

For the Employment section in the EOI, how should I submit my information? I have worked for a single company throughout my career since 2010; however, I have held five different designations (all related to my nominated occupation). Should I enter each designation as a separate entry, or should I list all designations (e.g., abc, abc2, abc3, abc4, abc5) in a single line separated by commas?

If all of your designations are related to a same field of work and its related to the nominated occupation, then you can get a single Reference Letter from your employer and mention complete job and designation history on it with common JDs, and then you can mention the latest job designation in your EOI with the whole period of employment in the last 10 years.

Hi sir, I’m in Australia on finalized student visa which was lodged by agent. My baby was born in Australia and I want to add my baby to my visa through the link. However I have only baby’s birth certificate, I have applied for passport only today (my baby is only 1 month old). The DHA website says that I can inform the birth of my baby through the above link even without the passport. I want to know how can I add my baby’s passport later when I don’t apply through immi account? Also will a separate visa be granted for my baby even if I don’t attach the passport to the web form? I need to know this since I plan to travel to my home country soon. Thanks a lot

Just submit this Form with the newborn baby's details and the available birth certificate. You can also upload the Passport application receipt in the field of passport upload in the form to inform the CO about the intention to upload the passport later. The next step of adding the passport of the newborn baby and adding in your existing valid visa shall be confirmed by the CO via email communication.

I have a requirement to travel to my home country soon, Can I travel before the visa is granted or how do I communicate the urgency to the CO through this form?

They will grant the letter only after you have provided the passport of the newborn baby. You need to contact the DoHA via telephone to discuss your case in such scenario in case you have to travel to your home country urgently and follow their advice.
