I didnt know about this song. Done buetiffly by Scandel.

As much as I love Journey, I honestly believe that Scandal's version buries Journey's version. Don't ask me why, as I can't explain it.... but Scandal's version just hits ME harder. Others may disagree, and that's fine. But this is MY personal best version.

Does anyone know of a video version of Scandal performing this song? Would love to see Patty singing this.

Love this song. Journey version and Scandal version are both awesome in their own way. Patty's voice is very young and beautiful in this song.

Terrific song from a group I know so little about. Thanks to Greg Stone for playing it often on his prog rock show in the seventies.

I've been a long time fan... At the time I was a CCTV installer and I made facetious comments about the local rock Station overplaying. W IBG. From then on I became interested in Jazz Fusion
Keith was a beast on keys. Saw this tour in Boston.

When it came out, I was so impressed. All the songs on this album are great. Seen them in Montreal that year, sad it was one album.

Solid cover; don't misunderstand. BUT...that lead break sounds messy and dissonant for its own sake. You're covering a melodic rock tune, with the emphasis on MELODY. Why not be that way too?

Same! I always liked Patty Smyth's voice. THe arrangement is basically the same, but it sounds great. Just a great song.

It’s very interesting to see how a different band interprets the same song. Ms. Smith is a very good singer. The guitar lead is where the difference is most pronounced.

I saw this tour in 87 I think with my little brother who was only like twelve at the time along with my best buddy basketballer Dale and his red headed gorgeous girlfriend. The show was at the now gone Capital Centre in Maryland. It was Magnificent! The sound and light show unbelievable. Easily in the top three concerts I have ever seen.

They did it ok but I'm just so in love with Steve perry voice and journey version. This just doesn't have the power journey and Steve's voice has. His version makes me want to cry remembering my youth with my friends and growing trying to find our selves
