At 10:05 the Tom's Tyres Funny Car from VEEM Engineering makes its appearance! From memory it ran a VEEM in-house developed aluminium 480ci engine (based on a BBC) and was driven by Gary Miocevich who was the brother of Mark and Brad of the Miocevich family who owned VEEM Engineering based in the sleepy suburb of Willetton, Perth W.A. The Tom’s Tyres Funny Car was reliable, ran strong and was definitely a crowd favourite. If I'm not mistaken it uses the same Oldsmobile Starfire Funny Car body (perhaps it's the very same car!) as used a few years earlier by Fred Perrotto who did some Nitro Funny Car match races around Australia including Ravenswood Raceway. Sadly we lost Gary Miocevich in 2015 but his legend lives on.

U know what real quotes u should say to them ACA ? That there all just one of the *Dark Sides* when it comes to *Social Skills* connected to the world of *Pop Culture References* And they haven't figured out how to mix those social skills in with those they have issues with Such as *The Middle-aged school teacher* ⬇️ *The 90 year old wrinkly granny* ⬇️ *The Jolly old man* ⬇️ *The* 👬🏼👬🏻👬 ⬇️ *The Middle-aged boss with grey hair and that voice to match* That's the REAL reason why they hate Grimshaw And not just for info gathering to screw them over Another reason is they couldn't bring themselves to pratice the *Blood Sweat and Tears* of getting into that world where *"Tony Hawk"* is today Along with all the Aussie's who emulate what he can do on a skateboard with both physical and moral balance So they take what they couldn't pratice on a *Skateboard* Or *Snowboard* or *Surfboard* into a Car instead since there's barely any pratice with that at all on a seat And it gets to that point where they'll make themselves believe ANYTHING That there not doing anything wrong ⬇️ That it's all for fun ⬇️ That they've modified it to the point where it's safe from harm When it reality there only able to pull off so much this and that is cause *BAD IS EASY* If u say things like that to them it well wipe the smirks from their faces and make them press their fingers up against their heads screaming out loud rolling around like pigs in mud

WOw i thought i would never see a upload of cherry lane and pipes road with drags going on, i used to go there back in the late 1970's early 1980's. Basically to meet girls and drag cars, which at that time cars were doing around 11's which was quick for home grown stuff, dedicated drag cars which are doing lower than 10's into the 9's where only at the drags, those cars sometime would turn up at cherry lane and pipe road drags, but only when it was betting time car against car ,with around$1,000 for the winner :)
