Thanks for your comment. But i need to disagree! These kind of units are getting better and better! Thus said, what you can't hear in the Video is the "feel", and the feel is way way more natural dynamic clear open and better with the Ampero Stage. The Flamma feels (and sounds) a bit more artificial and anemic, makes it more feel like a toy - but: it still sounds shockingly great or its money (which is half of the Ampero).

Yes, its highly dependent on which country a Guitar is manufactured, but that obviously doesn't mean the quality can not be up on par with more expensive instruments (in western countries). Back in my youth cheap guitars where "cheap" and often times unplayable. Not today anymore!

Hey man, that wasn't bad, you were close through most of it, and try to be more positive, as you're NOT the World's Worst Guitarist, and stop that kind of thinking! Everyone is at SOME level, and if you want to improve, try being the World's Hardest Practicing Guitarist, and if you're not, then play as often as possible. I try to get at least a couple of hours per day, and I do listen to the World's Best Guitarists (or in my top 10 they are) and try to learn something from them. Go to www.youtube.com/@DanieleTornaghi/videos and pick a song that he shows you (and everyone who takes the time to try) how to play. He plays it up to tempo at 1st, then slows it down making it much easier to learn. I've improved from trying to learn some of my favorite songs from some of his many videos. He's got 3 "Whitesnake" songs, "Still Of The Night", "Is This Love", and "Fool For Your Loving". You can request "Here I Go Again", but no guarantee he will post it. There are many songs and styles from which to learn from. Try some of them out! You can only get better!!! You've certainly got a lot more recording and effects than most people I know. Make the best ot if all!!! ~JPR~

Thanks for your warm words! "To be close" is enough for me, being an old fart meanwhile who still learned to do everything by ears, That's enough for the average listener who can not tell left from right (and not that "über-perfect" YT-User) and i am a strong believer in "nobody can sound exactly like the original anyway". And on top even the original Artists (in this case: Adrian Vandenberg) plays his own stuff different everytime he plays, and so do Reb Beach, Doug Aldrich, Joel Hoekstra and all the other Whitesnake Guitarists, each playing his own style. But i get your point. Anyway, i will do a Video on exactly that issue soon! Cheers!
@JeparaRocks
@JeparaRocks Жыл бұрын
@@Worlds_Worst_Guitarist I was sure that you'd get the point I was putting across to you! Old fart eh? I just hit 68, and if I could play back 40 years ago like I play now, I would have been an on the road touring and playing musician/guitarist (and trying not to over indulge) and making lots of money. Joel Hoekstra, Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach are all fantastic players, as they had a guitar in their hands most of the time (except of course when voiding and evacuating waste) and are looked up to as 3 of the best players around! Joel's "13", Doug's "Dead Daisies", and Reb Beach "Winger" are under-rated for the massive talent within all aspects of their bands! Joel, Mike Portnoy, and Dino Jelusick did a KILLER version of Jefferson Starship's "Jane" which really highlights Dino's amazing vocals! kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYCuZ2WIh85miLM All amazing in their own right... Dino is a voice of a generation! His band "Jelusick" released a new song "Jelusick "Fly High Again" is another great song from Dino with new players kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYK2eo2MbrGfnbc ... enjoy, and keep playing!!!

I don´t like D'addario sound and stiffness. For me the best sounding strings are Ernie Ball. But they don´t last much. I´ve just installed this set, with a heavier bottom to se if there is some benefit in the sound. Used to regular 10 - 46 ones. I´ll wait the neck stabilize and test it again. I found the lower strings kinda sloppy some times under heavy riffing. Maybe this gauge helps without the strugle of bending .11 higher strings.

Thanks for your comment! To be honest: i found the PRIME quite good sounding with really a lot of options! @@Worlds_Worst_Guitarist I don't want to bash the unit esp. not offend those who like it. In 30 years experience with DSP my ears are well trained for the slightest non-natural artefacts in tone. Regarding the price point: The only reason this thing is above one grand is: Me too! It worked for Line6 and others! I don't wanne be left behind. The sheer greed in instrument biz went over the top. Inflation, supply chain, all that is not an excuse for the massive increase. This branche has turned into a mafia syndicate.

This is exactly the TYPE Video I been Waiting for. These Snapshots are only good on their orig. settings and There is NO REAL tweakability. ONE Could spend DAYS on there looking for a FEW GOOD TONES, I wondered why guys have to LOAD up so many CAPTURES of ONE AMP. If it was a REAL AMP you could load a CLEAN preset Sound of that AMP. and then do TWEAKABLITY to Change it. SOUNDS LIKE a BIG WASTE OF TIME. LINE 6 HELIX has not a thing to Worry about. ONCE THIS really gets spread around I would imagine GARBAGE CANS will be filled up with all the WASTED dreams. This time next YEAR you won't be able to give one of these PEDALS away much less SELL it. HECK my OLD Vox TONELAB se is looking like a Shining star right now. it has TWEAKABILITY just like the REAL AMPS. Boy FEEL with those CAPTURES has to be NIL and Void. By all means, go out and buy a Dumble ODS, Dumble SSS, Matchless, Two Rock, etc, etc, etc!! Play them in your house at 2 on the volume. You're absolutely right though, those real amps will provide better tweak-ability and will sound (probably less than 15%) better than the $400 TONEX. Cheers.

@@musiccreation1198 So you do actually use the TONEX pedal.?? Do you use it for Gigging?. And watching other videos shows me you have to spend hours looking for good tones. And some of the Guys are playing those and they seem to sound awful, esp. the Factory ones in most cases.I am just trying to decide whether to go with another modeller type or embracing this TONEX. The modellers you can dial in and change the tonal qualitys of them. Looking for presets and Samples just seems like such a Big Time waster, does this make any sense. DO the sounds on the TONEX work for you??

@@musiccreation1198 Thanks for your Opinion! For people doing their own Amp Captures i thin the ToneX is a great unit. For people that just want play.................... Not so much, too much hassle finding the fitting Amp Capture incl. the matching Cabinet or still need to find the "perfect" IR. But if people want to dig that rabbithole (and have too much time on their side) i am sure the ToneX is great either.

@@ksharpe10 Yes, I use it a lot. It's rarely a replacement for personal playing at home where I plug into my tube amp. I'm pretty 'old school.' Well, I'm just old :). I use the Tonex Overdrive Special #80 a LOT = (Bonamassa’s ODS Dumble). The new Studio Rats Matchless and Dumble captures are excellent imo....and very much my cup o' tea. Fwiw, I think the Tonex amp captures are as good if not better than the alternatives that cost far , far more. People are selling their Kempers. For reals. I've seen some null tests that "prove" the Tonex captures are significantly more accurate vs the Kemper, etc. Whether you want to rely on external pedals vs the 'all-in-one-solutions' with builtin Fx....that's a personal choice. So far, unfortunately, I've much preferred the sound quality of external pedals vs the fx in modelers. So the Tonex is a good fit for me. You can capture pedals in the Tonex too. Another reason why I'm happy with the Tonex might be, I'm a clean / edge of breakup guy. If I were a high gain player, not sure I'd feel the same way....? One thing I'm quite sure of...the ($400!) Tonex is shaking up the modeling competition. I'll be watching Fractal, Line 6 and Kemper for NAMM announcements. :). You might enjoy these YT vids: "TONEX PEDAL - is this The One?
