His headship as the Soun of the community, was compensation for his valour in vanquishing Elemesho who was ravaging the Oyo Empire and soun was the savior of the day. The Christians, traditionalists equally also have theirs under same rule. 2nd, you overblew by saying an imaam/any muslim can still go to haj even if he is under state house arrest not to talk of when under custody/in prison ! What a joke. Until you muslims know that your religion is personal/private to you and that you cannot force/impose it on anyone or people/land, u will continue to have such unfortunate issues. You must recognize that the Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria supercedes our various internal religious doctrines as far as administration of the state is concerned. If the said imaam actually got to the seat illegally let him leave the seat. And if otherwise, let him break that his pride and go make open and official apology to the king and the entire Ogbomoso land/people with undertaking that such unruly behavior shall not happen again.
