That is correct. However, it is not as modular as the markers being compared. Also, once again the price point is not as favorable as the marker builds presented. This is still up for debate, but as I have tried to show, an accurized version of the EMF, T15, or M17 can be just as accurate as a SAR12.

You are correct. The reason why I left the SAR12 and markers like the CCM out of this discussion was primarily the price point but also because they are specifically built as a complete sniper package. The markers I compared are in general the starting markers most players would look at when getting into Magfed. These markers are also better starting points to build different roles from Assaulter to Sniper if the player chooses to do so.

For me, the main thing is that they've cleaned up the reticle to be more "combat" efficient and less busy. They've made it more paintball specific with the elimination of the 300FPS scale. However, it might be a con if we ever start running sniper or DMR challenges where FPS might not be capped. I also like the added "Body Height" range finder feature. At the end of the day it is still the ONLY and best DMR/sniper specific FSR optic.

@@magfedranchpaintball I bought one for an EMF100 setup. Haven't even got the chance to test it yet but I whole heartedly agree with you on the cleaner image. I don't play any commercial fields and I would love to see something in a 320fps yardage. Air softers are doing class systems where "snipers" can shoot at higher velocities but can't engage at closer ranges. I'm completely onboard with paintball adopting that. I know it's impractical for some, maybe even most commercial paintball & airsoft fields, but paintball will stagnate and die if it's industry relies solely on commercial outfits. One thing I love seeing is the new Carbon fiber air tanks, the ones with the ISO ratings, being smaller at the same capacity than their predecessors. This with with the emerging availability of portable high pressure compressors means you could fill your buddies air tanks at home during the week, and be able to go out to the woods with the capacity to shoot 750 balls or more without a stack of scuba tanks. Also the Exfog style system looks cool to keep the noobs from fogging up. I thing there's a real chance for Paintball to start growing again.

It looks promising from the standpoint that they're trying to make the 468 FSR capable but the way that MCS goes about things is still my concern. For example, why not improve and/or redesign the Dmags so that they actually work like you advertise? This channel has been stating the fact that Dmags are not reliable with FSR but yet MCS still promotes it as if it does. Then instead of improving or introducing a new design you promote mag conversions that are more reliable but are they actually reliable with the 468? Testing in a stable environment vs the playing field are 2 different things. The video that they just released even confirms what we've been saying for YEARS which is their original "Anti-Ball-Drop System" DOES not work with FSR but they never informed customers until now? I am wary of a company that introduce products that have not been thoroughly tested in real world environments and then makes the consumer do the real world testing for them.

We totally understand this reason and we believe paint markers are a viable option. Our recommendation is unless you have a specific reason to use shaped projectiles exclusively or you want your marker to be a visual deterrent, Magfed markers are less effective than a normal hopper marker. In general, a hopper-fed marker will be more reliable, have a higher rate of fire and carry a lot more rounds. for most scenarios it would a better tool for the job.

You are correct. The gameplay is definitely not comparable hence why we wanted to have this discussion. Boxmag play even with rules restricting reloads to multiple Boxmags or round count, still simulates hopper gameplay. The gameplay we are trying to promote is Limited Ammo, Shaped Projectile and Small Team Tactics. Some in the community feel that as long as it's "magazine fed" then it is Magfed which is the on going debate.

Yes it will do it but not ideal. It will take approx. twice as long but we have used it to fill up a 48ci/786cc tank. This is definitely better suited for the smaller tanks up to 17ci.

Magfed markers like the m17 in general were designed for FSR. The main issue when using RB is going to be the magazine spring tension. The problem compounds if a softshell RB is used. Valken graffiti is generally the recommended round. We don’t promote RB use in Magfed for that reason.

@@eliaslopez719 you must keep mind the objective on why I recommend the M17 and also the T15. 1) Magfed only gameplay. 2) FSR or shaped projectile ONLY gameplay, which eliminates a stock TMC. 3) MILSIM gameplay where the markers and loadout look realistic as possible. Based upon those criteria, the M17 & T15 are the only 2 mainstream choices. The 468 is not reliable with FSR as I've documented. The EMF is not MILSIM looking stock. The issues with RB is eliminated with FSR use only.

They are Airsoft stands that you can purchase from any Airsoft retailer. The m17 requires the HK style stands.

The great thing about Magfed and specifically Magfed combined with MILSIM is it allows you to simulate "real" setups and loadouts. You can choose to run heavy or light setups and experience it in real life and not some video game.

For us, it's more about the gameplay and whether or not we should hold ourselves to a specific style of gameplay. Within the Magfed community there is an ongoing debate/discussion of whether Magfed is anything that is "magazine fed" there by allowing space looking markers and Boxmags or should Magfed be more MILSIM, meaning realistic looking markers and limited ammo. There's pros and cons for both sides.

Yes, you definitely can. Just reminder to everyone that it will fire 1 burst of air so be careful to not have any rounds loaded and make sure the air manifold and o-rings don’t get jarred out of place.

No, the Anti Chop/LoK Bolt would replace the factory T15 barrel adapter. In essence the Lok Bolt is a modified barrel adapter with a built in anti chop feature added. Also, reminder to select the correct barrel thread for the barrel you plan to run - A5 or Auto Cocker.

@@RabidCarnageYes, the barrels that MCS/Hammerhead specifically sells for the T15 are Auto Cocker threaded but they also come with the correct threaded barrel adapter as well. They also sell the barrels separately without the T15 barrel adapters in Spyder, Tippmann 98, A5, and Auto Cocker threads. So, you need to double check which thread your barrel is. Hope that helps.

With the drop down mode I would suggest either using the QD mount on the dropdown for the rear and a rail mount option for the front. You could also use rail mounts for both front and rear or if you're planning to change the handguard, some handguards have QD sling mount options. As you can see there are options. You can go with something affordable like UTG, medium price like Magpul, or highend like Troy. All are available online. Stay away from airsoft quality accessories. Lastly, only use a quality adjustable sling like the blueforce gear slings.

What has the increase in reliability been when you've performed this mod? For example do you see a 50% increase in feed reliability or maybe 1 stoppage for every 2 mags, for example.

@@magfedranchpaintball atleast with mine not saying for everyone after this I get 1 or 2 flipped shots per mag usually sometimes none. Now this is with dmags not helix I could t get any sort of good results with them with fs rounds. You may have to barely open up the feed hole on the mag but I did not have too but just for refrence my mags are old so may just be worn open more. And my marker is a first gen rap4 468 with the spyder threaded barrel so it’s old old lol

Just to clarify, when you mean "V2 Hybrid" you are just talking about the Valken version of the M17 compared to the Milsig version correct?

Yes, I am aware of the upgrades that can be done to the TiPX to resolve it's out-of-the-box issues but that was the point of the video = to highlight the Top 5 things we did not like about the pistol out-of-the-box. A lot of people purchase the TiPX thinking that it's a good entry point into Magfed not understanding it's pros and cons. Conversion magwell and mag followers for CQMF to T15 found at Critical Situations in the UK. He's doing God's work to fix the CQMF shortcomings... also new bolt/heat-cores.

Not sure exact reason. We have not experienced that . My guess would be the PRV is not set properly or the Heatcore just needs to be serviced. If I run into that problem and figure it out I will definitely shoot a video about it.
