@@thewestmadman4259 Not at all. The main reason why my score here is so high is because of the luck of this spawn sequence. The game is most likely due to a pseudorandom game seed; I got a great one here.

I don’t really do that. A good strategy would be to destroy the arrows once they get close so you get the geoms. Then try for gate reflect kills when one spawns, since you get 5x points for that.

@@complexplane6756- Just pure shooting. No tricks or real strategies. Just to aim as quick as possible. Your aim is on a level that I’m not going to ever possess, so I was just curious if that’s something you’ve actually ever tried.

@@complexplane6756- Just to clarify, it’s on Geometry Wars 2. I’ve never played Geometry Wars 3. This was just your most recent video so I figured it was the best way to get a response.

@@complexplane6756- gotcha. I don’t play for that long of time and not everyday which hampers my skill growth potential. I did manage to reach over a million. I was honestly surprised because at 700,000 is where I end up dying for the times I am actually able to reach that score. I was about to wrap up playing for the day and when I looked at the previous score of each run, I saw 1,000,000. Who knows how long it’ll take me to duplicate that 1,000,000 barrier and let alone if I am able to cross that threshold more times than not. It’s not some kind of gaming impossibility and only a select few will ever reach it. It’s not highly coveted… just my own challenge.

certainly. i only discovered this game a couple of months ago and find it utterly addictive, despite also being so infuriating. got all the trophies other than the 2 co-op ones. Retro evolved took me an age to get, just popped for me last night

At this point I have learned to control my nerves, however, seeing I had beaten my score (I glanced up at 3.3B) while still having a couple lives and a few bombs I got really excited. I had to even pause the game around 4B. My last death was sad and because of nerves probably. Any thoughts on playing the game again?

I know the feeling. It’s nearly impossible not to look at your score when you’re having an amazing run. I tried putting tape on the screen to cover the score but I would eventually pause the game and remove the tape!! lol. I just saw today that Xbox series x has geowars 2 as a playable. I’ll check it out in a couple of days. If I do play and upload, it’ll be on this KZbin channel. My Yofatdaddyyy youtube account got banned for “duplicate” uploads. It’s a long story, bs mostly but hoping to get back on. Atleast a couple games every so often. I miss that rush. Question, wasn’t your screen name different in the past?

@@complexplane6756 Im hinting cheating, but Im probably wrong. Amazing play, but in my world it is strange. Your weaving angle is 90 degrees and it doesnt function if youre reaction is inhuman. Maybe on amphetamine i could. Nevertheless, with a perfect run I could probably get 3-4 billion, but not with your style playing. Just not capable of it. Congrats master!

If you’re referring to your screen, yes. If you’re watching his gameplay from a separate device than no. It could just be the way the capturing method he used to record this video. There could be a number of different reasons for viewing variations. Also, it depends on which points of this round you suspect differences. During the parts of the game that are most crowded there are “micro-pauses” that happen due to the processing of all the elements happening moment by moment. The same can be said for the aforementioned capturing device. No matter where it comes from, information is being processed and that causes delays between processing and storing.

@@FieniX_ Yeah you're probably right, it's probably something to do with how it's captured. Thanks for taking the time to write the detailed response. I started watching these vids because I really wanted to reach 1 billion (which I did) and I haven't played since lol. Geometry wars seems to be one of those games I always come back to though.
