Assisti ao filme na décadas de 80 e confesso que me impressionou muito...não ha um ser humano no filme, só a história de uma gaivota que queria se libertar do bando e voar alto...filme baseado no livro de Richard Back...Fernão Capelo Gaivota...que cada um liberte o Fernão que existe no interior de cada um...obrigado Neil Daimond por esta obra prima. Sou seu fã incondicional.

@@attilatoth6084 In this locality of the Alentejo, Portugal, the procession to the mer takes place annually, where the inhabitants dress in old fashion clothes, when these celebrations began, where the bath in the sea, in honor of São Romão is the greater symbol, with the respective "picnic" in the area. Very beautiful ... It is found in the Lagoa de Santo André, municipality of Santiago do Cacém. Perhaps a visit to NET can help you understand better. Good taste, good morning.

So filled with love and emotion and hope...This movie attracted me as an 11 year-old boy for reasons I wasn't sure of. There are some who are called to lead in one way or another like Jonathan. In this time of human ugliness, those of us whose hearts ache to show them a different way sometimes become sad and discouraged when we feel we are misunderstood and no one is listening. Lonely Looking Sky moves me to tears every time. I see the comments from kindred spirits here and it makes me feel better. When the natural and supernatural collide it can bring about chaos from those who do not have faith. To those who have the faith of a child it brings peace. I think Hall Bartlett and Neil Diamond created a bridge with is movie. Don't know if any of my ramblings make sense but this is entire soundtrack is one of my favorite pieces of music.

This was truly one of the genius expressions of Neil Diamond...and Hot August Night. After those works, he lost me as a fan for any of the music after that but I still am the biggest fan of Neil Diamond's offerings from the 60's & 70's!
