I think that Sally Bowles is ironically, a highly compelling and underrated character despite the repeated emphasis toward her mediocrity throughout the film. Minelli was the perfect actress for the part.

I'm sure he probably doesn't remember me but I either had him as a 7th or 8th grade drama teacher at Riverside Jr high and he was one of the best most engaging teachers I've ever had.
