Your videos are somw of my favorite! Very informative, question I have a bench I am trying to edit out of a pucture and I have tried 3 different ways to remove the bench and it just is not working, any suggestions?
@MorganBurks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary, so sorry for the delay in response! The best method will vary by image, but I'd probably suggest either the Clone Tool, the Healing Brush tool, or even making a selection around the bench and then going to Edit > Fill > Content Aware. If you'd like, you're more than welcome to send me a screen shot of the photo you're working on so I can take a look and see which method I think would be best for your particular image. You can reach me at [email protected]

Would like to thank you for making the couple of videos I have watched in a manner that the PS Illiterate can understand. I have 0 experience in PS and am trying to teach myself some of what I want to learn. All the other videos I have watched they don't explain how to create a layer mask etc, they just blow right thru it, which makes learning very difficult for me.

Did you shoot without a filter so you could make this video?
@MorganBurks4 жыл бұрын
I didn't use a filter, and on the day I shot this image, there were actually some local field fires that made the sky appear foggy and pink. There was no sky detail visible at all really, which made this photo a great one to show this technique on. Thanks for watching!

In lightroom we can do color correction, grading and stuff and then apply immediately though all the image we want, but sadly i dont have lightroom desktop But in photoshop, for example im shooting raw So whenever i open my image It first open camera raw and I usually color correct first How do I apply this batch action like yours including the color correction in camera raw ? So i dont have to collor correct one by one for example if im having 1000 image its gonna be crazy
@MorganBurks4 жыл бұрын
Great question, Michael! You can open multiple photos into Camera Raw and apply settings to them all at once. Here's an older tutorial I made that shows how: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6a2gp5moqaAhNU

When the instructions are quickly given such as "you can always grab a soft brush." where is this located and what is the setting so this brush. It seems effortless when you are doing in but sadly in a parallel universe what happens on my screen is completely different.
@MorganBurks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Julian, so sorry for any confusion! "Grabbing a soft brush" means selecting your Brush tool from your tools panel, and then setting the Hardness of the brush to 0 (this ensures the edges of that brush are soft and subtle when painting on your image). To adjust the Hardness: after selecting the Brush Tool, click the downward pointing arrow next to the Brush Icon at the top of your screen, and you'll find the Brush 'Hardness' setting just below the Brush 'Size' setting. I hope this helps! If you have any trouble, don't hesitate to get in touch. You can reach me at [email protected] for the fastest reply

Thanks for everything you do! Where do you get your overlays and is there somewhere we can get free overlays?
@MorganBurks4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Robby! I make my overlays, and sell them here: www.morganburks.com/product/mb-winter-window-overlays/ I don't have a freebie version of this overlay in particular, but I do have some other free ones on my site. This post has a free overlay and a free texture: www.morganburks.com/how-to-apply-textures-and-overlays-in-photoshop/

Good tutorial, but seems like I can't work with raw files to do this batching. Am I bound to work with Bridge to do the batch editing for raw files?
@MorganBurks4 жыл бұрын
I do use Bridge, but I also batch process my RAW files by selecting a series of them to open in Adobe Camera Raw as well. Then, once I finish processing there I pull them into Photoshop to batch with the method in this video.
