I'm sorry it didn't turn out like you expected. I still think it looks cool. You might have better luck differentiating the various parts of the vehicles by using different types of paper of different thicknesses. That way they can be seen better when you put the light behind it. It could serve as a type of shading almost.
@lightboxlife15 күн бұрын
Yeah, that could be good. I tried a little bit but it wasn't too noticeable. I'll experiment with it more😁

Wow. The anime water is stunning. Mad how something can feel too sparse and too cluttered at the same time. And the anime water ripples totally solved that feeling! Reducing the 'sparse-ness' while also obscuring some of the clutter below and balancing everything out. Wackadoo!

It looks so pretty and stop motion is hard by itself but this? It's a masterpiece. I have a question, what type of paper do you make these out of?
@lightboxlife29 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I mainly use cardstock and then sketching paper and tracing paper for the light areas

I was thinking about how much time and effort u did put into it, and mby u can reuse this scene in a way that u can rearrange the trees and get something else in the waters to get a differet scene and make more videos telling the story of a small boat sailor that will find this one and try go get it to his dock and eventualy kill the giant bird down the road or something. anyway the whole scene looks amazing the lights a wonderful u clearly have a ton of talent and patience.

Wow, your "normal" light boxes already look like a ton of work, but combining this with stop-motion animation?! It paid off, though. Turned out wonderful and the light box style makes for a really unique animation.

Be careful with setting paper in front of lights, crafters! That's an easy fire in many situations. Very beautiful art.
@lightboxlifeАй бұрын
Thanks. I am very careful. I use LED light strips and they don't touch the paper at all😁
Stop motion is always a labour of love but to do it as a lightbox was an insanely impressive feat of patience and it turned out great!
