I have found excellent results laying metallics over gloss enamel black , thinned about 10:1 thinner to paint , it didn't hurt the enamel and it gives a perfect base .

@froobly3 күн бұрын
@@Hafiz_7178 I tried this, and then decided to get a respirator. I found that after using the respirator, and then waiting for an hour with a fan blowing out the window, my workspace *still* smelled like solvent fumes. I didn't notice this while wearing the KN95, so that tells me that your nose gets used to the smell and it's more dangerous than you think.

Yes. Thin properly your paint and let it dry for 24hrs :) dont worry, after several hours it should great. But thin well is the best advise ✌

I don't use thinner at all when I use Mr Color, as I only partially paint the inner frame such as joint, throttles, inner pipes, hand palms. Those only required some colours as such silver, gold, red etc to make it in depth more and stand out. I don't do a lot of repaints because I really like the original colours that came with it and I always ended up weathering my gunpla heavily.

what kind of brushes do you recommend using for lacquer? would it be synthetic or natural? And can this be done with other Lacquers that are thinned like Alclad?

I would recommend very old brushes, because lacquer dries quickly, so it can "destroy" your brush

Hi bro, it's really surprised me to be honest that lacquer paint can give a pretty good result when applying with handbrushing. But how about when we want to paint the parts with many layer colors such of candytone colors? Is it fine to give the parts layer by layer with handbrush? Are we just wait the first layer color before well dried?
