The bus you said was a Metrobus is actually an Alexander bodied Scania (H202LOM), new to West Midlands Travel. These replaced Metrobuses, so you were halfway there. Cracking video!

I'm very concerned about ADL Enviro 400's (the non-mmc ones) like why did the First Bus company have sold them in fairly young age of ecsploatation to scrap-yard more likely than these older B9TL's Geminis which are still regular to catch on several routes. The Enviro 400's were very useful for the route 6, today there's only like 10 of them left in Glasgow

The Mk5 sets were a terrible waste of money and resources. It would have made more sense to have built more 185s and IETs.

Makes you think, in 1979, National Welsh were still running 1950s and 1960s Bristol Lodekkas and MWs. Sad to see buses in such a state. Is Jack Dunsmore still trading?
