Remember these types of VOLVO Olympian VA Alexander RLs in service with Stagecoach London back in 2001, 2002 when Stagecoach East London had two liveries and two logos. These were R-VPU and R-EVXs then came the low height Alexander Dennis Trident TALs they were to replace the R-EVX and R-VPU Alexander RL VOLVO Olympians - they were T-KPU and S-BWCs.

@ no it never was….Nigel glenholmes intentions were to use it on private hire….I’m great friends with the new owner….I’m looking at possibly purchasing it….I’ve photos of it…

Nothing will beat an ailsa b55-10 mk 1 at full speed for loudness! Aberhill depot still had them on the x57 in the early 90s and dunfermline had lsx38p on the x26 in 1992.

why break up some of these vehicles specially the first group deckers if not smashed or fire damaged they still could be used for service with smaller operators its because of this ULEZ crap am sure africa or india would be glad of these buses

After viewing this video and I am Sorry to Have to Say This and I feel Disgusted with the Government of this UK Country to Allow the bus Depot or Coach Depot to Scrap these Vehicles which are more modern and wasted public transport Funds on scrapping the modern vehicle buses which could be reused by other transport services here in the UK country and as for the First Group Buses are Bloody Disgusted with upon Wasting funds on scrapping their buses and wasting bloody funds paid by the Government to Purchase the vehicles and scrap them. 😢

A wee trip up to Weetslade might work, 22348 is still there on top of the pile (by what Streetview shows). Heck knows why she wasn't preserved but then again she was based at Slatyford, so no surprises there from what fellow bus enthusiasts around there have told me too.

When I was there on Saturday, 32570 was on display and when I heard it was out on Sunday I was so gutted
