I came looking for this anthem not expecting to find it, and was pleasantly surprised. The July 2021 Durban Mayhem we have just lived through brought it to mind. I learnt it as a child, and although I had remembered the melody, I had forgotten many of the words. Many thanks.

Ugly, and has dubious structural integrity. Do those donating these things not care enough to donate proper wheelchairs? These look like glorified airport luggage trollies. I would not be seen dead in one.

I have also seen better-looking wheelchairs, but of the more than 600 wheelchairs we have distributed in rural areas in Swaziland, we have received nothing but tremendous appreciation. However, if you can help us with the funds to provide proper folding wheelchairs free of charge, I will be glad to hear from you.

Wouldn't be caught dead in one? Well, aren't you lucky enough to be able to buy only the best wheelchairs money can buy? Fortunately, the people receiving these DONATED wheelchairs are appreciative of anything they can get. Do you hear them complaining about the aesthetics? Go ahead and purchase top of the line chairs for these people with all of the money you have, and then tell me how great you are for giving a BETTER wheelchair. I'll wait.

My father, George, passed away in 2000.
