Why do you call this the circuit? You only did a small piece? Very deceptive but beautiful film.

Its call circuit when you trek from one point and make an end in another point or place. You dont return back the same way you go. Its called circuit.

I'd rather climb Annapurna than everest. Prettier country for starters. And the altitude is not all that far off from the Himalayas

Great Video, thank you for the detailed information I was looking for. yeah we did Annapurna Base camp in 2019 and we are going to do the Annapurna Circuit in 3 month time, via Pokhara - Basi Sahar - Manang - Tilich - Thorong La Pass - Muktinath - Jomsom and Pokhara. so if you have more helpful tips please let me know. Thank you.

Dobry den. Ako vas mozem kontaktovat? Chcel by som sa opytat na nejake podrobnejsie informacie. Radi by sme tiez isli na taky trek.
Why do you call this Annapurna CIRCUIT trek as you did not circle any peaks of the Annapurna Massif? If you connect Chame and Jomsom with a straight line all Annapurna peaks fall south of this line. AC was originally from Pokhara to Pokhara and even now it is perfectly possible to hike at least from Besisahar to Dhampus Phedi near Pokhara to actually circle the mountains. Takes about 20 days and people do not seem to have the time and patience for it anymore. Watch this, Dhumre to Pokhara in 1984 and 1986, 360 km, no roads no phones no cheating: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ram7gaaFZb-osNE the Real Circuit as it should be.

Dear Kari, thank you for your comment and for the link to the 1984 video. That really makes a huge difference in almost 40 years. Unfortunately our time and physical capabilities were only sufficient for part of the Annapurna trek :-), but we still had a wonderful time. The record of the 1984 trek is really wonderful, thank you very much. Have a great day, Iva

You are so right. I just did the whole thing in 21 days and it makes me sick to think trekkers are saying they completed the circuit, doing only a small part. As if we do not know?

Wonderful 👍👍i just finished the trek 3days ago from Dharapani to Thorong la pass. Well done all 🎉

Then you did NOT complete the trek. Dharapani to high pass is one small part of the trek.

Thanks for the reminder, I was just saying that I have just done this journey and not the Annapurna circuit trek as you said. As far as you can see I've shown the way. Of course I also know that the Annapurna Circuit trek is a very long one. And not everyone can accomplish this task, because it just takes a long time to complete. Please don't think that you know, to make fun of others' ignorance. Thank you so much for your comment. 😊😊

@@KennethOng716 Fair enough. The larger issue is that villages along the way (ACAP trail access) are struggling to survive. We could see people in jeeps going by on the road, while trails (stunning) are used in smaller numbers because of the roads. ACAP officials remind us that roads are for locals bringing goods and services, NOT primarily for foreign trekkers, obviously. Incredibly frustrating to see this, but I am not singling you out or making fun...just setting the record straight. Glad you enjoyed your short journey nonetheless.

@@humbertsmith8864 Great 👍 That's why I started my trek at the place where I was at Dharapani, because the traffic was less after these. Of course, the current situation in the middle of the mountain looks really bad, and the landslide is very serious. Defensive measures need to be made to protect the environment and avoid further damage. Thank you very much 😊
