I used to work here about 30 years ago. You really missed most of it as its obviously mostly been demolished! The small chalets near the road where you came out near the cars parked is where the staff stayed ! They were really small just a room and bathroom really. Its in a beautiful spot so surprised no-one has done anything with it.

It used to be called Puckpool Holiday Camp, owned by warners. The sign you found must have been from the early 80s ish...(The Wagtail Club was a paid club for the children optional extra, you got a little badge) The little houses you mention were the challets...It was an amazing holiday camp in those days...so sad to see it like this, but very interesting. Bygone times...they filmed a David Essex film here in the 1970s...with Ringo Starr....

One of the entrances is right next to the main gate. You just haft to climb over a small wall next to the main entrance and you should stumble upon a building gate if you walk towards the path heading down through the main entrance and if you climb over that and start heading down towards the beach, the chalets should be there. Hope this helps. Enjoy your exploration

Hi, I'm thinking of exploring this soon. Do you have any heads up before I visit? security, alarms, cameras etc.

Hi. So there are no cameras or alarms at all but I do recommend entering when there are no people around. The site is currently under deconstruction I think but I didn't see anything in active use when there but do be cautious for any workers that could he there. And if you climb the big rouble pile, try not to be spotted by anyone in puckpool Park just incase
