Thanks Yes the Crumar 17 is a nice sounding electrics piano , and it cost me around 1500 dollars new which was a good price. The keys are little on the heavy side and the acoustic piano sounds are pretty decent but not as good as a kawaii, Roland or Yamaha, but the electric piano sounds make up for that.

Oh man, I miss that piano! Mine is gone to the trash heap! By it actually being wood (the keys) it ended up warping in storage! I don't miss carrying it to gigs, however the sound is special!
@pianomikeoct
@pianomikeoct 6 ай бұрын
This one came with the plastic keys that if you go to music player forums they complain about it being too noisy , which it is, but the action is quick and I do not have to worry about warping. Back in the Seventies I had Wurlitzer piano's I played out with they cost 650 dollars new I had three different ones because where we practice there was no heat or ac and the dampness ruined the pianos, the last one I bought I Paid 500 dollars for new because Wurlitzer had stopped making them and they discounted them. I do not even remember what happened to the wurlys, great keyboards when the were working correctly.

Thanks, if its not a noisy bar it would work, you can run chords out the back if you want to another speaker or a mixer, when I played at the bar with a guitar player I ran cables out of the back into the mixer and the P.A. speakers and used it for a monitor.

I had a flat tire on the rear tire last year and bought a little larger tire with more tread and put that on, which compared to my old Vespa P200 E was a real pain in the ass . These do not have the old fashion lug nuts so I had to buy a special tool and ratchet set to get it off. Since these do not have the old fashioned split rims which were a piece of cake to put a tire on , I had to take it to a shop to get the tire put on, there goes 50 dollars down the toilet . I just changed the rear oil in it last month ,they al showed how to get a syringe to put the oil back in, but I saw what one video showed , you take the drain plug out tip the scooter to the side to get all the oil out and then putting it back in the oil bottle has its own little spout , you just put the spout in and tip your scooter the other way and fill it to it over flows and let the scooter sit back on the stand and catch what extra oil falls out then put the oil bolt backing , which was a lot easier than using a syringe. I The scooter still runs good ,I am getting ready to replace the battery and spark plug , have had it for almost 4 years now ,in August it will be 4 years. I was a 2020 model that came out in 2019. It still looks good , I only have about 1300 miles on it , I just ride it for fun and I keep it in a shed when not in use to keep it from getting rusty. I do not ride it in the rain only Sunny days, since there are no scooter shops where I live I have to do the work on it myself so I make sure to take care of it.

@@pianomikeoct Great update mate, thank-you. I've had all types of Vespa's over the years and was lucky enough to test ride a demonstrator here in Australia recently (GT125)... I was very impressed with the ergonomics, handling and braking and the engine felt responsive with plenty of torque. It also looked proportionally and aesthetically beautiful on close inspection 👌. Not living near a "scooter" repair shop must have made you into a good home mechanic! 🙂 Shame some motorcycle workshops don't carry the required tools to service such simple scooters. Anyway, happy riding Mike, your northern hemisphere is going into summer soon so have fun out in the sunshine and make the most of it. 😎🛵

@@nikitis13 Well good luck choosing the right Scooter, the Vespa will probably be a little easier to handle, because its smaller, one thing I do not like on my scooter is that it is too hard to kick start so I carry a small battery booster in the glove box in case the battery goes dead and the electric starter won't work I can jump start it with the booster.

Nice demo, I just ordered one today. My daughter moved back in with me and I had to take down my PA (Mackie/Crown/JBLs) and setup in a smaller room. I mainly practice on an older RD-700GX with SuperNatural expansion. The 6.5" drivers in the KC-220 give me pause, but we will see. This amp will not see the road.
@pianomikeoct
@pianomikeoct Жыл бұрын
The piano I used on the RD 2000 was the modelded stage piano, it sounds much better when I use the 2015 RD 1000 sampled piano other wise known as the Elton John piano, it should sound good on your GX because they are a bassier sounding piano and the 220 brings out the tone. I have a lot of keyboards so I have two KC 220 stereo amps they are nice sounding and lite weight.

Monitors will sound better especially if you get the high end brands like Genelec ,Focal,, Adams, they have cheaper brands that get a decent sound like Yamaha, maybe M audio ,Pre sonus.I use the amp because its only 30 watts and sometime I play in bands and use it for a monitor along with my EV ZXa1 monitors, which I use for playing out.

@@pianomikeoct Thank you so much sir :) I read a comment that says: I received my Numa X Piano 88 today (well, I initially ordered a Numa X Piano 73 from ****** but they kept pushing the delivery date..... Keyboard action It has the new Fatar TP/110 action. I was afraid it would be the same as the TP/100LR in my SL73 that I hated. I don't have them side by side to compare and I sold the SL73 a few months ago, so it's mostly an anecdotal comparison but I believe the TP110 is an improvement. It's not a huge improvement but is probably slightly less sluggish. Also, it hard bottoms which is something I like (I hate mushy feeling keyboards such as the Kawai ones). However it's still somehow heavy and tiring to play but maybe less so than Yamaha digital piano actions. Also, it pushes back against your fingers which is a complaint I have with all digital piano actions to a certain degree. Furthermore, when playing pianissimo near the rear end of the keys, I often missed notes because either I failed to move the key at all, or moved it only barely. Now, take in mind I'm coming from a very smooth real grand piano action in the N1X and I'm used to a very fine control over all velocities, but still. For comparison, the BHS action in the Yamaha YC73 I returned some time ago (due to a faulty encoder) didn't exhibit that quality and I was able to play pianissimos towards the rear end of the keys. I adapted quickly to the Numa X but I am not sure I was very comfortable. Ultimately I think it's on par with similar digital piano actions in that price range. Could be better, could be worse. Now I'm confused:(
