my uncle's wife passed away two years ago.. since then he lost his energy moving forward for his life... seldom taking a bath and feeling lonely wating to die.😢 but after my uncle meet an exotic girl 22 years younger than of his age, he now took a bath twice daily and the 15 minutes water fitching walk now takes only 8 minutes.. 😍🥰😅

The one thing I seek is peace, and Guiuan is the perfect place for it. I love to sit at the downtown terminal at the boat landing late evenings. The vibes there are awesome. Thank you!

By the way, I'm just curious how is your daughter and son-in-law addresses you? Does he call you by your first name or Dad? Thank you sis! My family here makes sure I travel first week of each month to Tacloban to get my eye drops, about a 3 hour ride to civilization lol. Thats the closest movie theater as well so Im treating my Filipino family to a lunch and movie while there. Thats also where I visit the immigration office for visa updates. Love and miss you, sis! Hi Jim, Nice to hear you are enjoying your stay in Guiuan. The name of the Cathedral or the Church is St Lawrence the Martyr, in the town of Balangiga, where the 3 bells were taken from. Balangiga is one of the towns under the Diocese of Borongan. Borongan is the town north of Guiuan where the Bishop office is seated and where he administers or oversees his Diocese. So I suggest to change the title Borongan Cathedral to Balangiga Church, Eastern Samar. Thanks.

Welcome to my hometown, Jim. I left Guiuan in 1956 and ever since then I haven't been back. I am now in Ontario, Canada married to a Canadian. Hope you'll have a wonderful experience there with your beautiful daughter and her family. Guiuan was a former US Air Base in WW2.
