So grateful to see this clip. I was 12 . Today going through this clip brings back not only memories of this flood but all my childhood memories of that era. 🧧🦁很久很久以前，有这样一个传说。广东南海郡佛山镇忠义乡，突然出现一只怪兽。它身长八尺，头大身小，眼若铜铃，青面獠牙，头上还长着一支独角，模样很吓人。 更令人们不安的是，怪兽来如影，去如风，特别喜欢破坏田间的稻米、蔬果等等。更可恶的是，它专挑除夕夜跑出来扰民，不让大伙儿过好年。村民们称它为“👹 #年兽 👹”，对它恨得咬牙切齿，却又无计可施。 临近过年的一天，大家又聚集起来，商议如何对付“年兽”。乡民们你一言我一语，献计献策，最终，有人想出一条妙计来。大家马上分头准备，并召集十来位勇士，每人拿着锅一类能打出响声的器具，其中一人手执两把菜刀，在圆铁砧旁站立，准备敲打。 除夕夜里，勇士们埋伏在年兽必经的桥下，静候时机。不多时候，奇兽果然又大摇大摆出现了。这回还没等它展开破坏活动，众勇士就一涌而出，举起手中的器具，奋力敲打，响声如雷贯耳，气势震天。 原本耀武扬威的年兽一下被唬住了。随后，它看到村民的队伍中飞腾起一头比它更吓人的怪兽：大大的脑袋，眼如铜铃，身体五颜六色的，还扭来扭去，上蹿下跳。年兽被吓坏了，它本能地转头，落荒而逃。 其实，吓走年兽的“怪兽”那巨大的狮形兽头是村民们用竹篾和纸扎成的，并涂上彩色；他们又以形状各异（如方形、三角形）的布料为原材料，织成兽身。伴着震耳欲聋的巨大声响，这头“怪兽”竟生生吓退了真正的怪兽。 自此之后，年兽再没有敢露面，村民们重新过上了安定祥和的生活。大伙儿为了庆祝吓退年兽的胜利，也为了纪念纸扎兽头的功劳，每逢春节，都要将它拿出来舞动。有人将这种活动命名为“ #舞狮 ”，#狮子 象征勇猛和吉祥，人们相信它能在新春降魔辟邪，给家家户户带来好运。 再后来，舞狮不仅出现在新春佳节，还会在其他一些庆典活动时表演，烘托节庆气氛。为配合表演，乡民们以锣鼓为乐器，以适当的节奏敲打起来，使舞狮活动更有气势。舞狮逐渐演变出镇宇旺宅、降鬼辟魔、保护合家安宁、祈祷五谷丰登的寓意，成为不可或缺的民俗。🧧🦁
