Cool video amigo. Love Horvats channel. Super entertaining, and he definitely can play. Plenty of power, plays from the tips.

I am looking at the wrong? He doesn’t seem to have much space between his arms and his hips on the down swing.

Just bought some Apex ll w/white cameo a week ago, wanted these so bad in 1980, but I was 15 and mom couldn’t afford them, so after 44 years I saw them on Ebay. Hogan in a way continued in his dad business of forging iron, his dad was a Blacksmith, except Ben only designed them and had some else forge the iron,

Golf has been around 400 years. At some point, you'd think that golf instructors would figure it out for easy presentation. The whole industry needs a make-over. The PGA needs to perfect one lesson plan for 10-year-old kids. Then, teach that crap, not a hundred different theories. If you presented material in the proper sequence, then you guys could talk less. Golf instructors like to impress students with how much they know. Unfortunately, golf instructors fail to convey anything. Teach students as if they are 10-year-old kids, and talk less. Keep your biomechanics for your next term paper in college.

Lot's of videos on the rope drill around. IMHO, this is one of the better ones. Thanks for making it.

Wow, thats a great way to show how left side is key while at top of swing. The very slight pause on top helps me get to the left in time….

Funny thing is, he's going back more to his 'shut' swing these days and still playing great (again)... everyone said in 2014 it was his swing that made him so good in those majors ... but see his PUTTING stats... that's what did it (in my opinion). His putting was outstanding - he moved his feet closer together for much better roll on the ball, posting up for the 'release' Bobby Jones style. His swing... has always been remarkable. Pound to weight ratio - the best ball striker ever to have lived... the longest winning margin streak consistently on a pro tour of any golfer ever. Majors are likely inevitable so long as he stays healthy - but even if he never wins one - when you consider the fact he is pint sized, still amazing to hang with the monsters like Dustin out there.

I have 8-sets of Ben Hogan blades: Power Trust+ - Ft Worth 15 hi Several other models in crosshairs… Also playing Mr. Hogan’s persimmon woods from a 1971 Slazenger-Hogan set I found at estate sale FYI: Simple Green cleaner works well on old grips Thx again 🙏🏻😎🙏🏻

The swing at 7:20 shows how Hogan started the back swing by turning his right hip back. He said NOT to do that. There are videos of Nicklaus doing the same thing.

Excellent job on explaining the technical terms for how the wrists work in the golf swing! I'm going to stay away from these because I may get them wrong; therefore, I will say that as a senior golfer, I strive for a flat left wrist and a bent back right wrist with a vertical swing! Since going to this type of a swing, I have had more consistency and power in my golf game. Well Done with the Technical Terms though!
