Off topic. But you posted online about the 2023 kawi hydro clutch/lever PN# 43015-0742 would work on crf450r. Would that work on a 2020 crf450r or only the 23’?

Jesus, 4 hour life on that tire?! Wtf! 😅 On another note, got the Mx3s for my 23’ yz250f as you recommended. That and the mx14 for the rear. Can’t wait to see the difference on my local sand track versus the stock tires.

HI @Keeferinctesting ,please i need your help ! my weight is 130 LBS and my size 5.5 ft, i have 10 years experience riding dirt bike (125 2stroke and 250 4 Stroke) but i am tired to rev the little bike anymore! i still want to ride fast but smoothly. Do you think the 450 is too heavy for me? or something else to suggest ? i have 30 years old and im in a good shape. thanks you

having just ridden one recently on a demo day here in uk, i loved it, front end feel is great, gearing i felt up a tooth on the back, apart from a little customising, bars etc, and tyres, great bike, and i think im sold

shorten the bars to 802mm what does that effect, I've always left mine stock but I'm 6'4 so idk if that means anything
@Keeferinctesting8 күн бұрын
@@grant27combs You would think having some leverage (wider bars) would help but I’ve found (as well as others) that 810-812mm makes it harder to lean/corner bike. 800-804mm seems to be a good leverage ratio for most riders/bikes. Might be worth a try?
@mitchelljordan4478 күн бұрын
Loved 996s on my Yamaha, on new ktm went with 827s (same bend no crossbar) for the vibration. They felt like ape hangers for some reason. Then went to 839s, almost exact same bend but 10mm less wide. Standing up accelerating they felt a little narrow at first but that went away after 1 moto, & they felt 10x better immediately when cornering seated. Much better overall & im a lanky 6’3.

450's are just such a vets cheater bikes sometimes as it sounds like it's barely trying. I rode a new yz450f last week (first time riding a 450 in 5 yrs) and I was clearing jumps with next to no corner speed just powering up the face whereas I have to carry so much speed in the corners on my 250 to be even close to clearing them

Frame might flex better, but it looks like it still wants to turn on a dime and for myself that is not a good thing. From what I can see in the video it seem like you don't trust it for that reason, especially on a slick track. Still dreaming of them making a stable bike like they use too. Thinking that's a pipe dream anymore.

The price of these exhausts is getting out of hand. Cost of production of these things is no more than $200. I think the consumers are just flipping the bill for the race teams that use this exhausts for free as they’re sponsored by the brand.

Something I'm curious to hear about after you've rode this back on the west coast in firm and choppy stuff, anyway. Stoked, thanks for all your insights, brother
