It's great that you and other Drs like yourself offer all these things to help heal, but they are usually very unaffordable to the "ordinary person," and not covered by insurance!!!! So do Drs like yourself really want to help or just make a shit load of money from those who can actually afford it? Yes. This pisses me off. Lord Jesus if we are staying here much longer please do something about all this and get these treatments affordable for everyone and or covered by insurance that we pay and pay and pay into, in Jesus name I pray Lord. Thank you Lord.

Is there any solution for rheumatoid arthritis knee damage regeneration, please I'm not interested on knee surgery
@blatmanhealth
@blatmanhealth 5 ай бұрын
Solutions for joint pain are similar, no matter the cause... first, can you totally straighten your knee and can you bend it more than 90 degrees to sit in a chair. If so, you will usually do better to try regenerating the cartilage, and stop eating inflammatory food. Go to our web site, sign up for the newsletter, and download the 'do not eat' list. And with rheumatoid arthritis, add no sugar and no fruit to the list.
@Insolation1
@Insolation1 5 ай бұрын
None of this works for advanced arthritis, once you can no longer straighten you legs and you can barely bend your legs, only total knee replacement will offer a solution. Not only that the longer you wait the the worse it is for you're other joints, hips, ankles and also your feet, which suffer due to having to compensate because of the way you now walk. Everything has a knock on effect, don't wait too long like what I have done and now my hips, my ankles and feet are damaged through compensating.
@blatmanhealth
@blatmanhealth 5 ай бұрын
I agree, if your preserved range of motion is not acceptable, it is most likely that a joint surgery will be needed for resurfacing, partial replacement, or total replacement. On the other hand, if you can still fully straighten your knee and you can bend it more than 90 degrees, then you have more choices and you may not need a joint surgery. And for you there may be help for your ankles and feet...

Explain how nicotine and NSAID’s prevent the joint repair.
@halblatman7653
@halblatman7653 6 ай бұрын
Hello and thanks for your question. NSAID's prevent glycosaminoglycan synthesis, necessary for cartilage growth and repair. Nicotine constricts blood vessels, decreasing blood supply to cartilage and consequences ensue. Hope this helps.

Unless you have diabetes, natural suger is a part of a natural diet. We are not meant to be miserable our whole lives, so we can live 2 extra years in a nursing home. Agreed, processed and excessive sugar is bad. Excessive anything is bad. Have a couple drinks a day and a few sodas a week, its fine for your health. No harm in being happy, in moderation. Let the food Nazis, wither away, without bacon. The can enjoy eating kale wrapted tree bark. Good for them. Im tolerant, even though their eating my foods food. Sharing is caring..

I agree, natural sugar is part of a natural diet. Unfortunately there are many people who are metabolically broken to where they have used up their resilience and cannot tolerate even the natural sugars. Easy to investigate.. just test blood for HbA1c levels... 5.3 is metabolicly broken. Then to collect an even more important data point... ask your doctor to prescribe a Freestyle libre 3 patch or other continuous glucose monitor. If you eat "natural sugar" and your blood glucose spikes above 125, perhaps you should reconsider what you wrote. I prefer to guide my patients to a way of life that helps them stay out of the nursing home and live 10 or more years independently.

@@halblatman7653 I totally agree. Insulin is a cash cow. It's clear the way EBT is approved for all the high fructose soda, candy and food. Government subsidies should limit the toxic food, but they encourage it.

Unfortunately the FDA took away injectable glucosamine for humans... it is still available for vet use in animals. Before that, any doctor licensed to inject joints could inject glucosamine if the doctor knew about it.

I have found multiple reports and abstracts proving your point that NSAIDS prevent regrowth of cartilage, not to mention destroys other bodily functions as well such as kidneys. Thank God for your information, otherwise I would not have known this. There are very few healthcare providers that know this, or will even publicly acknowledge this. We all know the ramifications and dangers of discouraging a "Big Pharma" drug, unfortunately. But I am telling everyone I can about this "modulation of glycosaminoglycan synthesis", and I am on a campaign to regrow my cartilage and have discontinued use of Meloxicam (with my doctor's advice and support). You would not believe the supplements and creams, etc. I am using in order to accomplish a regrow or recovery of my knee cartilage, and only time will tell the truth or success of my endeavor. Thank you again, and God bless you always, Rosanne Mayo, Georgia USA

Thank you for your response. I have not checked this recently because I broke my femur and have been dealing with that. However, please note that the article on the website you referred me to (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7821339/) stated that NSAIDS damage "articular cartilage" - my problem is with knees which are not articular joints. Can you qualify? I am going on a specific regimen that a guy on YT recommended, who completely reversed his hip degeneration. This is his YT video and channel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqG9eX59fKh-Y9E However, I am worried that I won't be able to stop the Meloxicam, as my body seems to have become addicted to it and reacts very sharply without it. = but I'm going to try. Thank you! Rosanne from Georgia USA

Is glucosamine sulfate & chondroitin supplement alone capable of cartilage regrowth among with dietary changes? Because I read lot of studies and articles online that show they don’t have any benefit and they dont prevent further loss, what’s your opinion about that?
@blatmanhealth
@blatmanhealth 8 ай бұрын
Orally administered Glucosamine sulfate alone is generally helpful for restoring cartilage in knees, provided you use a brand that works. It may not be helpful for the pain you feel is in your knee, mainly because most of the pain does not come from the knee joint. So making the pain go away and regenerating cartilage are not the same thing. In our experience, pain gets better pretty quickly and regenerating cartilage is more of a project.

In my experience glucosamine by mouth never worked for hips. When we used to be able to inject glucosamine it was amazing. Now the best we can do is with a cream that puts glucosamine through your skin. You will need a compounding pharmacist and someone to prescribe. After a couple months you might have some improvement, or at least know you haven’t gotten worse. Bigger is PRP, peptides, and stem cells injected into the joint. \
