If I'm being honest Nidoking would be vastly preferred over even a full power Crobat. A mon that can basically solo most of Steel (We outspeed Gholdengo by one point and Gambit doesn't kill us from full so thats fun) along with hitting Flying as hard as possible (you say Articuno switch in, I say we run Naive and pop a 87.5% chance for Rockslide a OKHO while Freeze-Dry never kills). So easing our matchup into two of the big three is too good to pass up (Along with doing work in the mirror, Dragon, Fire and just a bunch of other stuff) Meanwhile Crobat would be losing Roost, it doesn't it get it through breeding (would keep Defog since Braviary has given it Defog since BW) but even if it didn't loose Roost, Crobat would mainly be great just for its speed tier and not much else. Also we already have a Gallade check, its called Overqwil, get with the program.

@@ToyTimeKing Counterpoint. Life Orb Gallade? In this metagame? You used Rock too much cause you've clearly hit your head on one. Also we have a good chance to 2HKO the standard AV Gallade with Crunch and/or Barb Barrage (50% Poison go brrr in this case) So yes, it is a Solid Check, your just fraudulent at using Big Qwilliam.

In monotype, can you use meloetta on a mono psychic team? If so, is relic song enabled? Cuz then you can have a normal fighting mon on a mono psychic team

solid analysis, I do think salazzle is easily S tier though, it can always hit things for like 40% bare minimum (even klawf) and most things can't hit as hard as it (and nothing outspeeds it outside of specific scarfed mons), so as long as you pivot it around the few things that stop it (scarfed alolan raichu, dachsbun [if you have the overheat nuke variant], klawf, and mantine). Everything else in this meta just can't swap in on salazzle properly reading with slude wave or overheat or they simply get outsped at take like 70-80% and effectively die to any basic form of revenge kill. In the like 30-40 games I've run on ladder and this month's tourney, I've only had like 1-2 games where salazzle didn't kill at bare minimum 1.5 pokemon before dying to something which is crazy good value, and it's been very essential in securing many different wins.

I will say that I've been using Salazzle since the beginning of the meta, AV klawf is always walling it but that's the only consistent answer. It is a very versatile pokemon but I just think Raichu is the sole top dog in this meta. Salazzle is probably higher than Zoroark and about the same spot as Milotic after continued use with specs, boots NP and etc

one thing tho, dusknoir is not a defensive ghost type, it likes to run Choice Band or AV, pursuit dusknoir is one of the best araichu counters, and a polteirgeist off a 100 stat hits very hard into certain things, I honestly think it should've been higher ngl

I'm not familiar with what is a legendary and what is a mythical, but where are the tapus, keyrum black/white, the OG Regis, heatran, and the creation trio (origin forms too maybe?) I'm not sure which are mythicals and which arent, I think dialga and palkia have 2 abilities but not sure about the rest

Mythicals are basically event pokemon like mew celebi jirachi deoxys darkrai genesect etc. Everything else counts as a legendary

But origin giratina only has levitate, and keyrum black/white only have teravolt/turboblaze no? maybe there can be something done with that?

Gamefreak could generate a ton of hype by creating second abilities or hidden abilities for mythical and legendary Pokemon. This is so cool! I think Imposter Mew would be one of my personal headcanons based on the manga.
