Yes! You can create memory tag in scada/HMI software to do the simulation without PLC. For instance, you can create digital memory tag for button and analog memory tag for scale.

How would I rotate the fan to represent the speed (HZ) of my VFD/motor? I was thinking about using a timer with a PRE of the current VFD HZ, and then using the min freq and max freq of the VFD? I don't think I could use the "constant" field to achieve this? Any help is appreciated. These are great tutorials about FTVME.

Same procedure can be applied, just use tag in which you are getting the actual speed(hz) and specify min and max values of speed(hz).

Question, say you are using an integer instead of just an on/off bit, how would it look? For example, in a login protocol a normal user is assigned a 1 and admin a 2 in a integer tag, lets call it loginType. So would the expression be {[CLX1]}loginType == 1}? Like if you wanted to "hide" certain features from certain a "loginType".

Thanks for the video, I work as a systems integrator and hmi local tags are a complete pain, good idea to make the change and save it as a different excel file good idea, wish there was a way to do it in factorytalk, I do the reviews of new software with Rockwell and I’ll bring it up to them

Just go to object library of ft view then select a fan object and substitute tag that's it 👍

No offence but you should type #RSlinx or whatever the topic is in the description so your video gets recommended and so that if anyone searches anything related to your topics your video would come in their recommended otherwise your video will only come to their search if they search your whole video title with your channel name!!!

See...the issue is that I can't download/install any browser on my PC (windows10) it say fail to download browser and the other issue is that I can't open anything on the Microsoft store (it says retry error code : something) neither on the enternet explorer (it says that same error : code something) help me out on this issue if you understand what I am saying.

Seems like your windows has been infected, I have faced this issue recently, so i just reinstalled the windows and everything was working fine.

I recommend you to try different windows 10 dvd/iso instead of currently installed.
