Those drawers are so cool! You are so skilled. I like how there's a spot for the tools but still room on top for the bulky stuff. If I have had a truck again I would definitely want to do something like this.

I did a similar build last week. I glued just the foam board on with PL Premium (tried 3x and 8x) and it held initially (let it cure braced for 24 hours before removing bracing) and 1 day later it separated and fell off the ceiling. I did everything correct according to the label and it seems the failure was in the glue because it would not stick to the foam board. I actually coincidentally used the same Dow Foam board except 1” thick. I ended up just bracing the foam against the ceiling and walls with 2x6’s laid flat like posts and beams, securing the boards to the plywood floor with angle brackets and at the top to each other about every four feet at the seams of the foam.

I watched your video for the first time and enjoyed it. My question is can you really fit a 4x8 sheet on the upper platform? My experience is that as you get above the truck box where the cap narrows, length and width becomes hard to fit 4x8.

Hello Richard, thank you for your comment. Yes, I can fit 4 x 8 sheets on that platform but I am limited as you noted. If I do need a lot of material, I will have it delivered or use a trailer.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to create drawers for inside my Chevy Astro travel via one question. How did you cut the slots for the dividers dado blade? Router? Chisel cut with your circular saw? Thank you very nice.❤

@@susanmboudreau hello Susan, it’s so good to hear from the community. I used a sliding mitre saw that has a depth adjustment. Let me know how your project turns out.❤️
