Sorry I'm an absolute novice when it comes to video recording. That coupled with my cellphone mic being garbled I'm sort of stuck without audio recording. I haven't figured out how to record with my computer for audio that syncs well with my videos in a manner that doesn't take hours and hours of time. If you'd like me to show anything or discuss something I'm reasonably easy to reach on discord at #Alakuu and would be happy to hop on a video call. Though the unit in this video has long since went to the customer.

I use very small LIR2450 batteries with about 140mah. I see roughly 4 days of battery life. The case itself could likely take a 18650 or at least a AA / bigger batteries easily.

@@SkreeLLC So around a month with average 18650, good enough, all things considered. Dactyl-like boards seems like a perfect fit for being wireless.

Hey! The keycaps are a tough one. I'm using special keycaps that I'm then modifying through a lengthy process to make them have a invisible legend that becomes visible with RGB. I can't find blank keycaps with locating dots sadly either. I can resin print them though. Been considering offering that with and without a 'inked' legend as a option. But basically take a legended set (these are XDA) and you'll have them with bumps. If you want blank bumps sadly they're quite rare it seems.

Yeah they're pricey though. EVQ-WGD001 is the name of the encoder. Running 8$ each at this point.

Hey! Yes they do. I can't always find fantastic shipping costs but I've shipped to lots of places throughout the globe. Etsy provides a very slow but economic solution and my shopify store should give all international shipping options properly calculated for weight. I also have a closer spaced Choc solution arriving in a couple of days.

It has some vision issues (I think I need a better bottom camera and bottom lighting) but step pick repeatability really seems like it might do 0201. I'd need a nozzle for 0201 too. I haven't attempted though. The stencil apertures for 0201 is so small I'd imagine even getting paste consistently might be a challenge. *EDIT* I'll see about slipping some random 0201 passives into the next order I get. Not sure if I'll remember to respond again but if I do I'll let you know!

It's wireless or wired. You type like a standard keyboard but can set the spacing specific to what's comfortable for you. Runs on ZMK so you can rebind all the keys however you'd like.

Sadly these are off to the customer. I have to figure out how to mount a keyboard and microphone for proper typing tests. I'm making more though and will have some videos hopefully soon. Working on a chameleon mixed custom paint for a personal build right now.

ZMK has non-main branch support. It's been a in work project of individuals on the ZMK discord for quite a while! It's now in such a stable state that I feel comfortable building and selling them!

I need to spin up production but I have all the supplies on hand. Keycaps are made by me! Black ones are etched XDA and the clear ones are XDA. The cat logo I did myself too! I can make them (see my etsy custom keycap listing).
