I still feel sorry for Armstrong. Most of the other top contenders from his era, and the modern era, were & still are using PED's. So if thats the case why take down Lance? Even Greg LeMond has interviews on KZbin admitting he took EPO. Did they take away his Tour wins? Why not? Because this wasn't about fairness, its about destroying one person.
@dankbank7424
@dankbank7424 2 ай бұрын
He seems like he's being honest, but he's also implying that lance was not a great cyclist before he took PEDs, and that he started winning in his post-cancer comeback because he was taking PEDs. The truth is that he was taking PEDs both before and after cancer, and so were all of the GC contenders. He started winning because he was dedicated enough to get himself better training, better doctors for PEDS, and maybe better natural talent. The story that lance won through cheating is not at all realistic. He won a cheaters game by being the best cheater

i would put money on if ANYONE , spent most of theyr life working for a goal, getting hit with cancer . bouncing back , and start the dream again. reach the top ranks only to discover everybody and theyr grandmother is doped to the teeth . so what do you do? do you give up? on whats been your life ? i think not . so imo its not the doping , because i think most , if not all of us would have done the same . BUT it was the way he did it , the way he treated other people , just bulldosing whatevers in the way , not caring. THAT dosent sit well with me. and another thought , who presented armstrongs doctor to him? LeMond . mr clean .... i think not . but thats another story .

@3:38 Greg Lemonds says some words that are powerful. In my heart, though, I feel how can he say that about Lance? Wasn't Greg Lemond in a hospital bed with buck shot in his body, and then he won the Tour De France clean? Come on.... I wasn't born yesterday. @greglemond I always knew Lance was doping, and I felt the same about you when you won the Tour de France. You didn't win on just bread and water and tacos. Did you? Please.... whatever.

All the other contenders were doing PEDs as well, so those tours were on a level playing field. Given that, Lance was the best, sociopathic behavior aside. Stripping away the titles: I agree with that. That was some step toward cleaning up the sport...which is still not clean.

all this to show you and tell you what a great Kunt of a person Lance was, who cares how well he rode, it's the lives he destroyed and people he stepped on to win, a sign of a master Kunt.

You might consider contacting Dr. Paul Marik at Sentare Norfolk General Hospital in east Virginia. He has developed a largely successful protocol for treating sepsis which involves Intravenous Vitamin C, Hydrocortizone, thiamine, and hyperbaric Oxygen. Mortality went from 40% to 8.5%

If something is too good to be true. It usually is. Lance was an average rider the suddenly at the age of 27, after illness, goes on to be the greatest of all time. The problem is we love fairytale stories and so do advertisers.

What a joke, she writes articles about trans people and never includes trans people's perspective. She hypes fear over actual scientific evidence. This is bigotry when done while claiming trans people are not real as she suggested in a recent article. Her opinion is that trans people are all mentally ill (no not all of us have trouble, some are more resilient to transphobia than others) and despite study after study showing crosscultural trends in .9% of all people being gender variant, she tells us that the UK is different and the decades of low official reporting rates have nothing to do with complete lack of services or mandatory pathologisation. She's an inequalities writer if you can believe it. A clear example that you can call yourself anything, but its actions that make you what you are. In this case, perhaps wothy of redicule. Ugh, disgusting.

You have real sportsmen, but you also have sportsman with obsession for victory at any cost. A lot of professional drivers about 96% used dope. But lance used everything, blood dope, anabole, cortisone and epo. He was the most doped driver. The only apologies he had to make was to his college drivers. And tell them, I was smarter than you and took a great risk with my body.

Mr Walsh in his pursuit of Armstrong and indeed riches used Emma O’Reilly a pawn which destroyed her and nearly killed her partner. I’m very dubious of people who refer to Walsh as a hero. Mr Walsh is a long way from being any sort of a hero and every bit as immoral Armstrong.

I can’t help feel that Lance was made a scapegoat to some extent. Yes he cheated. Yes he should have been stripped of his titles but the cheating and corruption did not stop with Lance. The whole sport was corrupt but the circus still carried on without Lance as if nothing had happened. The cheating and corruption still continues to this day

Im 23 years sober(and love cycling). To say doping is ok cuz everyone does it. It is ridiculous. I used to shoot heroin, but its OK cuz everyone was doing it. Lance lied. It be like me doing shot of heroin tonight, going to an AA meeting tomorrow, and telling everyone im sober. Jesus, man. cheating is cheating, lying is lying, bullying is bullyin, ad infinitum. I met guys in prison with more integrity and self reflection than Lance. Also ran into a bunch of psychopaths. Lance resembles the latter..

Funny how this dude didn't go after the alian performance of dope Froome. Lance is a piece sht human being, but this dude wasn't worried about clean cycling. He just hated Lance. Team sky made team postal look like amateurs. Why this dude never questioned their performance. Because he just had an agenda about Lance.
@Saoco325

Lance been a total fraud, the world of pro cycling is still the same, if not worst. The whole Lance fiasco was a lesson learned for pro cycling. Not to reform the sport, but to do things in ways to keep the doping under the radar. Let me enlight you. - no more doping questions on interviews. Even when current pro riders are making Lance look like an amateur. Out of side, out of mind. That's how humans operate and these people know that. - only one designated interviewer after the races, with the same scripted questions. No harsh questions for out of this world performances like the JV team on 2022 TDF. - if you piss dirty, you go home with COVID-19 or some bullshit injury. Remember when dopeee Froome pissed dirty, and how they kept it under the radar. - cycling is a advertising business and an illusion of super humans to sell overpriced bicycles to the average Joe that dream to be like one of the doped pro riders.
