English is not my first language, sorry any mistake: Every stat except STR can be useful so this allow many different builds. Althrough obviously there is some preference on certain builds, i guess depends on if you want to put money on the game, lvl 100 class preference, if you care about PvP. I will talk about this mage: This is what some people call MANK. The build at this video was 50END (high HP to run around mobs and spam aoe, some people use DEX instead but i prefer consistency over an evasion chance), rest INT. Most skillpoint focused on AOE Damage/Cooldown. Works very well on 1-100 leveling solo/party and you don't need buy SC (i started to spent money after lvl 100 to upgrade my weapon and buy some situational charms). The downside of this build is less critical chance and damage but you don't die often. I saw people with 50 DEX, rest INT. 50DEX, 25SPR, rest INT. Common choices usually are full INT (full damage) and 25SPR, rest INT (less damage but more critical chance). About gear just boost your prefered stat (i guess if i pick END will prefer gear with DEX/SPR to supply other stats) Of course remember stats have some sort of breakpoints where benefit per point is less. Like 25, 33 on DEX if i'm not wrong, 50. So if you don't want a high SPR build, just stop on 25 and focus on another stat.
