I love this character. Each of the characters turned out to be memorable, including lemurs. I would even say that penguins and lemurs carried the whole cartoon, keeping pace of fun. But there is something special about Julien in his character: his self-confidence, power and fame, easy childishness, excessive narcissism, and his Sri Lankan accent, accompanied by an endless love of parties and sometimes uncomplicated "genius" plans. Definitely one of the best characters in Madagascar. The fact that he was voiced by Sacha Baron Cohen makes him even better.
