Biggest mistake you can make is assuming because you are shorter that you will have a speed or mobility advantage. Lesson for you is that fast twitch muscle fibers are not height restrictive. If anything you better have more stamina than the taller fighter(which is not speed). Wear them down with quantity and wait for their gas tank to decline. Come into the fight expecting yourself to have a speed advantage is an old school fools philosophy

it is easy to land low kick in muay thai vs boxer because in muay thai you have front stance to avoid kicks etc in boxing you have side stance where you ALWAYS have your leg infront, so its super easy for muay thai fighter to land those kicks, and your legs as boxer are weak (did not train getting kicked), you take 2-3 lows and youre done, i did boxind and thai so i can say that from matrial arts theory and experience, any boxer who started thai or kickboxing will say so.

Mostly good advice, but a couple of disagreements: 1. Take out the biggest guy 1st. I know its easier said than done, but you need to do exactly that. This creates the shock factor and psychological pressure on your enemies that will allow you to survive the encounter by increasing your morale while lowering theirs. If you don't know how to deliver a strike that will destroy someone, then you are training for competition, not actual fighting. The goal of a competition is NOT to actually hurt someone. Not to actually put someone in the hospital...if not the morgue. 2. While you take out the big guy you should be breaking out of the encirclement and doing a U-turn while controlling his body and putting his damaged body between you and the rest. This will allow you to calmly survey the entire scene. 3. The U-turn allows you to see everything clearly without spinning around (which makes vision a blur). While you calmly assess the scene you will see some moving towards you and some moving away. This allows you to quickly identify who is the enemy and who is the crowd trying to escape. 4. *My personal tip. The 1st three are rules, but in my personal experience, I started laughing. I am not sure why, it just seemed funny at the time. I didn't do it on purpose but it had a big psychological impact on my attackers and also served keep me very calm and extremely relaxed, which allowed me to casually counter them as if it was all in good fun. If you can somehow find humor in your situation, perhaps it might also work for you.

How many opponents did you deal with each time and how many times did you have group fights? Also is this in the US? What are the end results usually like as in do you floor them all or is it a battle of attrition?
@jameskeyes49885 күн бұрын
@@rangamanthina3961 5 on 1 - three times! But it wasn't as violent as you are expecting. Over a lifetime I had a couple of situations of one vs. many that I was able to extricate myself from somehow without a fight, but there were three times where it got physical. First as a child, I had my 10 speed bike, I popped a wheelie and held the handlebars and swept the rear wheel towards them, keeping the group at bay. No one was hurt, except maybe egos. They kept taunting me to fight them, but I didn't like the odds so I used the bike to sort of sweep it around to keep them at bay. I eventually got away. That group of kids was one grade younger than me. The main instigator told his older sister in my class and she read me the riot act the next day in school! lol I tried to explain that I didn't actually "fight" her little brother but was ganged up on by him and his friends and merely tried to keep them away from me but she wasn't buying it. Decades later, she probably hates me still. :p Next as a college student working as a mall cop, a so-called "gang" I had kicked out of the mall wanted revenge on me in the parking lot. I was in the Ford Bronco security truck. While I was a fresh black belt and somewhat looking for a challenge, I wasn't stupid enough to get out of the truck, just because they were taunting me and insulting me and challenging me to a fight. I just revved the engine a few times and aggressively moved the bronco towards them a little. Nothing big, just a few feet at a time. Just enough to get them to back off. I radioed in to call the mall detail cop and police to come by as they had actually threatened to kill me. They eventually got in their car and left, only to be picked up by the police a mile or so down the road from the mall. I did show up for his court date and it was hilarious to see the so-called "gang leader" actually cry in court in front of the judge and say he didn't really mean it, when he was threatening to kill me. Third a few years later, at 1 am driving home from a club in Taichung City in Taiwan with my girlfriend. We were almost home and the street to my left was very wide and had these huge 50 foot wide sidewalks which were empty. During the day they would be filled with racks of stuff for sale but at 1 am it was deserted. I noticed a girl in a white evening gown walking alone down the sidewalk, no one else around but a single car slowly pulling up behind her. I thought this was strange so I turned around and drove down that street and pulled over, all the while my girlfriend (a local) complaining that I should leave it alone and just go home. When I pulled over the girl immediately ran over to my car and jumped into the back seat and said, "Please help me!" I turned around and said, "What happened?" That was really stupid of me. I should have had a clue what was going on. My biggest regret is not immediately hitting the power door locks and driving her directly to the police station because of what happened next. Almost immediately a guy runs over to my car, opens the back door, grabs the girl by the arm and yanks her out of my car and onto the ground. Yanking her out caused her head to hit the top of my car on the way out the door and then she was on the ground and he was on top of her punching the girl. I jumped out of my car and ran around the other side and grabbed the guy, let's call him "the boyfriend" - I grabbed him by the hair and pulled him off the girl. I was too flustered to remember much Chinese at that point and could only shout (in Chinese) "Don't hit a girl! You can't hit a girl!" That was all the Chinese I could muster in the heat of the moment. Meanwhile his 4 friends had decided that I was the enemy and shouted at me. No idea what they said. They were posturing aggressively, started jumping around doing their kung fu and attacking me. Now, I am 6'2' - fully head and shoulders taller than these Chinese/Taiwanese guys and at the time had been training in martial arts for about 10 years. So, at the time, for whatever reason, it felt like I was dealing with a bunch of unruly kids and their kung fu looked to me to be comical...so I started laughing while effortlessly parrying their attacks. Now, don't get me wrong...I am not the 2nd coming of Bruce Lee or anything like that...but there were a lot of factors in my favor. First, they were not coordinated in their attacks. In other words, they did not all attack me all at the same time. If they did I am sure I would have got my ass kicked. Also, I was much bigger and stronger. Although I was lean and not with big muscles, I was still head and shoulders taller than they were. Plus a significant amount of training allowed me to have a big skill advantage. Also, I was laughing at their movements, this most likely screwed with their confidence and morale. So, lets just say all the stars and planets were in alignment for me at this time. I don't know if I could pull it off in the same way again. So how did the fight go? Well, besides the girl in white, no one was really hurt because I really made no attempt to hit them back. I just defended while laughing at them. At first I was holding "the boyfriend" down on the ground by the hair, but his friends attacks forced me to let go. Also one of his friends was tied up trying to stop "boyfriend" from attacking the girl in white again. So, one of their team couldn't attack me. But that guy failed to stop boyfriend and he got past him and grabbed the girl and threw her down again and started punching her again! So I immediately grabbed him by the hair, again, and pulled him off of her. I had to try to hang on to "the boyfriend" by the hair while still defending against his friends, who now have one more attacker (the guy who failed to block the boyfriend). So, all in all it was a chaotic mess. It ended when "the boyfriend" ran back to their car and pulled out a golf club out of the trunk and charged at me swinging the metal golf club at my head trying to hit a home run. I was no longer laughing but quickly imagine my skull cracked open and brain matter spilling out. I got scared and very angry! I started back pedaling while pulling my coat over my head to try to have something in my hands to block the golf club with and started thinking about lethal ways to stop him from killing me. After a couple of wide swings that missed, finally his friends all grabbed him and I was able to get away. But not without serious repercussions. I had left my girlfriend in the car during the entire melee and while I was immediately next to the car for the fight, when "the boyfriend" came back with the golf club I had run backwards away from them, leaving my car about 75 feet away. This made her feel abandoned. She was PISSED. And rightly so. We later married but I don't think she ever really forgave me for that. We eventually divorced. There were other problems too of course but this whole thing could have been avoided. While it makes for a wild story years later, I still to this day wished I was smart enough to just hit the power door locks and drive her to the police station and not have the story.

@GhostRider-SA you can beat multiple opponents and it's already been done before. No one said it was going to be easy though if you're fast on your feet and you don't stay in the same place you have a higher chance of winning especially if you're a skilled fighter against newbs you can win easily. But the most important thing is your mindset if you start panicking and start saying "I'm dead" or "I'm going to lose" if youre not confident your going to lose even if it was just one person you'd lose if you lose your confidence if all the high level fighters greats loss their confidence they would of NEVER won any match.
