What is her name? I use to do this years ago. It was very pretty but I had some problems with losing hair on the top of my head. I’d love to talk to someone. Perhaps the products are better now. I did have problems with my blow-outs! My fault though. I kept them too long.!! They were so pretty I never wanted to go back! I didn’t & my hair fell out! By the hand full!!!

All my mom, her friends, and the people I heard about having this did was complain about the drawbacks. 🤦🏽‍♀️Please be real about it. Everyone knows the cons to having a Jeri curl back in the day was the fact that you had to keep it wet with that oily, furniture ruining, greasy activator. This does NOT have to stay wet which makes it BETTER. 😤People are mad for 2 very OBVIOUS reasons: 1st, because nobody expected it to ever become popular again in the black community and used it as a punchline in jokes in the 90s. 2nd, it's because many people in the AA community devalue our own ingenious ideas and don't know how to capitalize off of it like Gina did. Learn to capitalize off of your own community. 🎯FINALLY: The cost of living back in the '80s and '90s was much different than it is today. With that said it doesn't mean that people were charging properly back then either. 💶 I can't believe people used to do this service for such a little bit of money for all that work.
