So this guys solution is to have less (chicken) animal farming is high-income countries and have more (chicken) animal farming in low-income countries. Wow, wow, wow...that's absolutely and utterly ridiculous!!! Here is a wild idea, just turn the world vegan. Increase legume and pulse production if you are so concerned about protein.

Why not add a small dose of this vaccine to our existing flu vaccines? How much would this cost? What would the risks be? And would it be effective? Like how about 1/10th the normal dose so everyone who’s currently getting vaccinated starts developing antibodies.

Wild birds and wild animals will obviously evolve to tolerate this virus. All those who can’t, will obviously be removed from the gene pool. We can do the same thing with farm animals, but don’t want to do this with humans.

Flu vaccines are produced in fertile eggs. Virtually 100% death of those eggs if inoculated with H5N1. So, you see it cannot be produced commercially that way.

He says that infection in humans has results in 50% mortality, but he doesn’t know the actual number of infections. He only knows the number of detected infections, which is likely only symptomatic infection. With COVID, only 50% were symptomatic, and only 20% required hospitalization. With Polio only 10% are symptomatic enough to identify it as a Polio infection.

It’s possible that like Polio 90% of infections are asymptomatic, which would mean that the infection fatality rate is 5%, not 50%.

How can 20+ piggeries, over a great distance in NSW, Vic, QLDs become infected all at the same time when mosquitoes have ~5km radius and we have sentinel surveillance, chook bleeding, trapping etc.? It took ~3m to identify and only then from the foetuses of pig stillbirths.
