Happy Thanksgiving! Earthcaches are great and fun but I personally think they can be too troublesome to complete. I wasn't able to complete this year's Eartcache Day because I have no ECs close to hit up. :P I cached all the close ones. >_<!

Thanks for the tips Jay! Some good info there to encourage us to find more earthcaches. One question: where do we get an official LANMonkey measuring card? :)

Wow, that's some beautiful scenery you showed throughout this video. Earthcaches... not my favorite. But I have run across some pretty neat ones! And congrats on finishing off your calendar for multi finds.

Despise overly complicated eathcaches glad they started simplifying them

What makes an EarthCache experience a hot mess for you? I prefer just having one thing to learn - one lesson - in an EarthCache; once it starts layering on topics and things I have to understand I get a bit frustrated with it. What's your take on EarthCaches? 🤔

Hello, I'm one of the loyal subscribers of your channel. I have been following your channel for the last month. Your youtube channel video quality is very good. Thumbnails are eye catching. Your channel deserves more views. But there is some problem with your channel. For which your channel views and subscriptions are not increasing. If you say I can share with you.

Very nice! Great work on this instructional video. It's obvious you did your homework and had this whole video planned out before you turned the camera on. Very watchable and easy to understand. I hope this video helps a new cacher understand cache sizes a little better!

Nice rundown on cache sizes. Something I wish I properly knew in my early days of Geocaching. Wow! That little bridge had so many cache hides! Forget the 528' rule! That bridge had a 5.28" rule. :P

I do hope it helps out new cachers - except for maybe that caches aren't actually hidden that close together (unless it's a multi?) - then see video on cache types! LOL

Just noticed all the new caches in the Logan Lake area since my last visit. Maybe the TJ Brothers need to have a boys weekend and head out on the highway, looking for adventure, whatever comes our way.. those words seem somewhat familiar. 🤔

Recognized the Merritt\Logan Lake area caches right off the bat. The Powerline trail cache and the Logan Lake overlook cache by the big log are well defined in my memory. As are the cache(s) on Promontory Mountain. Been up there a couple of times finding caches, last time I visited there were patches of snow on the road and at the top by the building. And a freaking cold wind cutting through your clothes as well 🥶 Nice to see you use the Jeep for some backwoods exploring and finding those off the path caches which seem to be more rewarding to find than many other caches.
@LANMonkey2 ай бұрын
Yeah they sure are more rewarding. That's the whole point of having a Jeep, right?

Because it takes us to places we would have never gone before. We are now collecting new countries. We are in Vancouver dropping our son at UBC for his doctorate. We drove over 2700 miles from Columbus, Ohio and it was soooo hard not to geocache along the way.
