For whatever reason, I come back to this performance each year after he passed. I understand the comments about Chris being standoffish, but really, he was just a quiet soul in the spotlight. I am not sure I understood that when I met him, but damn do I miss him. Voice of a generation. Loud love.

I was there!! It was my senior year of HS. Soundgarden has always been one of my favorite bands. So blessed I got to see Chris before his untimely death.

A wonderful live version of Milk at the 96 MTV EU awards turned into a 3 day marathon binge of nonstop garbage pretty much all day long. Unhealthy? Nah. I listen to garbage when i ride my bike on a USB speaker. I listen to garbage when i come home and change. I listen to garbage when i go to the shop. Never seen them though. It's so cringe when Americans feel the need to imitate other nations accents for comedic effect. I'm English, but I empathise with our Scottish neighbours who have to put up with this sh!yte. Any time a Scot appears on an American talk show, you just know its coming and can count the minutes (or sometimes mere seconds) before that dumb yank bursts into their impression of 'Groundsman Willie' from the Simpsons. 💤

I know its an old video, but this is fun flashback! I would walk there when I was a kid to buy records from the record store that was there. Shopped at Woolworth and even ate at their little diner inside, and my wife and I bought our very first Christmas tree and decorations from Bradlees when we got our first apartment. Thanks for the memories!
