WOW! What a great video tutorial on neck shaping. I finished a cotton Granny Square sweater and struggled to figure out a decent neckline because the body was SQUARE with zero neck shaping. I am going to use your instructions to add a 'yoke. Thank you!

Can you use any kind of Worsted Yarn? I am asking because I have so much yarn already bought. Sharon
@ChristaCoDesign22 күн бұрын
Yes of course, use any worsted weight. For the best results be sure to check gauge using your chosen yarn.

Thank you so much for this, this is the only tutorial i found that makes sense to me! I have a question, if I were to make this but with 7 colors (rainbow) how many rows of each color would I have to do? How do I figure this out?
@ChristaCoDesign22 күн бұрын
Hi, the easiest way would probably be to get the total amount of yarn needed for the project divided evenly in the 7 colors, the just use all the balls for each color as you go. I hope that helps!
@janetnewnham8897Ай бұрын
It would be very helpful if you gave a stitch count at the end of each row of the increase.
@ChristaCoDesign22 күн бұрын
Thanks for this. If it helps, each round where you're increases adds 8 stitches. After you stop increasing the stitch count stays the same. I hope this helps!

Dearest Christa, I must confess I was intimidated by the appearance of the design. I am encouraged br your yeaching style. Ligthing is great. Terminology is great. Explanation is great. That chain 3 alternative- I changed playback speed to a slower number- had to watch it several times. Is it a singke crochet, then use the left (bottom) leg , then single crochet on top?
@ChristaCoDesignАй бұрын
Yes, how you describe the ch 3 alternative is correct! Thanks for your kind comments! And here's the step by step for the ch 3 alternative video if you need it!

I’m wondering if I can do this with Lily’s Sugar and Cream cotton yarn. That stuff is more stiff and thick though, so I’d probably go up some hook sizes. This yarn looks soft and nice ❤ I’m sure this would be beautiful in Lion Brand’s 24/7 cotton too!
@ChristaCoDesign2 ай бұрын
Definitely, and going up the hooks size or two is the perfect way to accommodate a more structured yarn!

If you would add another color yarn how would you connect..😊
@ChristaCoDesign4 ай бұрын
Hi! Great question. You would join your last round, pull up a long loop and cut your current yarn color, leaving a long tail to weave in. Join your new yarn color with a slip stitch to the first stitch of the round, and proceed! I hope this helps.
