Hey, nice video, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I thought I might give you some friendly advice, weapon melee scaling in this game is very weak, most weapons will barely gain any dmg when leveling str or dex past what you need to use it, so for most weapons its best to just get the stats to 2 hand your weapon and leave it there, you get most of your dmg from infusions (lightning) and rings and upgrades, you are basically wasting a bunch of points leveling str like this especially this early🫠

@@OfficialMetalhead honestly yea it's definitely not needed if your just trying to max/min stats and you don't want to spend the extra souls I guess. You are definitely right, I guess I had an idea to just give something for people who have a tough time in the game not necessarily what is the smartest thing to do at each step!

As someone who plays on story mode is was crazy seeing you dueling in hard mode or even just the range in difficulty. Truly shows the effort they’ve put into the game. Really enjoying the videos you’ve been putting out

I've been trying to think of a challenge run for this game that would be fun, haven't fully settled on rules yet. I think the idea of No Talent Points could be interesting, I think plants and pots will become quite vital to the combat, but I consider letting myself at least getting the 4 tabs of the spell wheel.. but at the same time, it feels like only having a single wheel might add to the challenge, setting your loadout for each fight more carefully. It's still quite early so it's been hard to find others doing any kind of challenges yet. ^^;

Thank you! From someone who loves Dark Souls I just had to give myself an attempt on just something slightly more challenging. Also because the new game. I haven't seen many people even step up to play hard mode on some videos, but understandable because how immersive this game is and just wanting to enjoy the story that it is. I just thought well I won't use the top spells for damage because maybe that's all my brain could handle at the start but maybe I'll implement only few points that you mentioned that! We have to keep the content interesting right!?

@@AntMan_1793 My first run I was playing on Hard and I decided to not touch any of the Unforgiveables, as they seemed quite powerful. So I'm really searching for something to make this second run (on Hard again) unique and interesting. Playing a different house, different gender and turning off the minimap are certain, and the more I think about it, the more fun a No Talent Points run does sound. I agree about most people not playing on Hard, in fact, most people I've seen are on Easy or Story. It took me ages to even realise why some videos had button prompts for the dodging when i didn't recognise it at all, I later found out that on lower difficulties the game gives you a QTE for them. I'm so used to Hard difficulty and the really rapid timing required that I had no idea what the lower difficulties even looked like. I look forward to seeing more of your videos, I do like a kindred spirit who enjoys challenge runs as much as I do. :)
