@Bodacious I have AREX Delta Gen 2 M, which I purchased new. And even though I am a US Marine Veteran and former Civilian cop, I don’t do much to any weapons without authorization usually, but as a civilian I resorted to your well informed video about which parts of the pistol that could use polishing. So I thank you for your learning curve and this video.

Did you shoot without adjusting the zero? If so how was the accuracy without adjustment out to 25,50, 100 without adjusting the zero out of the box?

Just by looking at the Black Thorn flesh u ate i knew it wasnt good. The reasons: 1) BT u had came from premature tree. Good durian is like a fine wine. It gets better when the tree is mature and tastes best when it reaches golden age. 2) If that BT u had was sourced from a farm within the island, then it most probably came from a young tree. Golden age BT trees exist only at mainland side of Penang, specifically in Jawi.. about an hour drive from the island. 3) Producing high quality durian requires deep knowledge, skills, discipline and experience in the field. Golden age tree alone wont guarantee that it'll produce quality fruits if a grower/farmer in charge lacks the characteristics mentioned earlier. 4) Sadly the quality of Malaysian durian is slowly degrading due to the mass production of fruits across the country. U wont be able to produce high quality durian if u prioritize on quantity rather than quality. 5) Synthetic and chemical fertilizers are heavily used to force trees to produce as many fruits as they can, thus compromising quality and our health. 6) Modern farming system practised by these commercial farms to maximize production is slowly destroying Malaysian durian's quality and reputation. If you are working against the nature rather than with the nature, then u'll eventually lose at the end.

Dude, if you're still in Penang, you should definitely try 青皮15 and capri. Both are heavily flavoured with hints of whiskey. That black thorn you had probably came from a young tree, that's why it ain't good enough.

I go through this thread and it is quite telling what is wrong with the world today. Everyone dropped their frustration with the same issues and bashed the company. But notice NO-ONE gave a final verdict on if they got their package ... was it later updated after certain amount of days .... Just an interesting observation about we as humans

So you have only about 200 rounds through it? My Delta M did that once around 150 rounds, I now have 2500 rounds through it and it runs like Swiss watch, I believe it is a break in issue, after about 500-700 rounds I bet it's gonna run butter smooth, hope it goes away, it's really a great pistol.

I'm dealing with this now. I got a gold chain being sent to me sent tracking number and was send ups next day air saver. So label created and sent on Jan 5 for next day air but tracking still only shows label created what the hell is the sender blowing a load of smoke up my backside. I own a couple of guns and if I remember, every single one mentions in their manual to check and oil the gun before 1st use. And that one includes the tools, you only need a piece of cloth and a lubricant. And that's more important on imported guns.

Good to know stuff. At least you identified the problem. I never had any issues during break in. And I have an L. I also have a stand off compensator equipped. Maybe that is helping with the blowback pressure more on my L model, which would be more forceful on the slide return to battery.

Some glocks do that also with non beveled striker blocks. The angle on the striker block creases friction on the trigger bar and causes it hang. I wonder if it’s a similar issue on arex? It looks like it has a different striker block but in simile location to glock

Mine is 6 weeks old. Ftes like crazy. Many different types of ammo. Ruger replaced the slides assembly and barrel. Got it back last week, 80 rounds flawlessly then the trigger stopped engaging with firing pin. Many attempts. Sent it back Saturday. Let's see. Right now not even a considerable choice. So I ordered the Sig P365 in 380. Shouldn't be this way. Thanks for the post.

My Glock 48 had issues going into battery early on, enough to worry me about its reliability. A rigorous shooting session smoothed it all out along with the initially crunchy trigger.

Mine shot 10 inches low at 7 yards. Ruger sent new barrel/slide and it still shot low @ 7 yards (now 6-8 inches). It’s back at Ruger now. I like the little gun but it needs to shoot closer to point of aim. Mine did not rattle.

Good report.... You say that when a 10 rd mag is loaded fully to 10 rds, it's hard (or impossible) to insert into the gun WITH THE SLIDE CLOSED. Yes, true....but consider this--> for "old-school" auto pistols, cramming every last round POSSIBLE into the mag... wasn't the marketing point it is today. So on a "fully loaded" mag with these older style guns, you could STILL push the top round DOWN a bit, without excessive force, because the spring wasn't fully compressed. As a result, you CAN insert such a mag easily into a closed slide. NOT SO TODAY.....today's mini-guns used for carry have mag designs that ALMOST FULLY compress the mag spring, and allow VERY LITTLE extra spring compression. The springs are either FULLY compressed, or NEARLY so. This wasn't the case with older gun designs. See illustration here on the various MAX 380 mags...and notice how fully compressed the springs are. I recently purchased the Delta Gen.2 M with intention of using it as an EDC. Overall I am very pleased with the form, fit and function with one major exception. I found the trigger pull to be gritty with a very wide span and irregular poundage varying from 6.1 thru 8#s. Nothing ab out the trigger pull was consistent. I spoke with Global Ordnance, the U.S. agency who said the trigger pull was normal - at 7 to 8#s. Any attempt to polish the trigger mechanism would void their warranty. I have taken another path in an attempt to lighten the trigger pull. PLEASE understand "I am not recommended to any one". I am having my cerakote expert remove the factory trigger assembly coating and replace it with a cerakote product called Microslick in hopes it will reduce the the pull. Again, I do not recommend any one else do this. Thank you for taking the time to read of my experience.

You’ve put only 2 out of 4 screws for mounting type 2 plate on the slide. Why not all 4??

The noise you hear when pulling the trigger is not the trigger. It is the hammer spring. This gun is hammer fired and not striker fired. Ruger uses a long hammer spring that creates the sound you are referring to.

They most likely do the cardboard box to save the plastic from scratching.

Trying to track packages has become a futile waste of time across the entire industry. Though USPS is and always has been the worst in this regard, ALL package carriers - UPS included - are starting to suck in all services across the board. These days, I simply do not order anything if I really have to have it in my hands by the due date, as I pretty much know it isn't going to happen and NOBODY'S tracking system actually works anymore.
