Go for double electric pump if you want to increase milk supply. Consult a lactation consultant or pediatrician, they might suggest medications to increase milk supply if necessary. If you are only pumping, you should be able to pump 25 to 35 oz milk per day or as much as your baby needs. If you are pumping after feeding the baby, then you'll get only little. Also please don't introduce formula unnecessarily. If you use formula, you are signalling to your mind that whatever milk you are producing now is enough. For time being use formula, but focus on increasing supply. If baby cries after feeding directly, then give your previously pumped milk and if after that also baby is crying, then give formula. Also be cautious on how you give formula or pumped breast milk, don't give in silicone nipples , use only spoon or sangu to feed extra milk to baby. Using plastic nipples and bottles - baby will get used to the fast flow and completely stop feeding from you. Be careful. Also you are only 45 days postpartum, so you have good chance to increase milk supply. Use double electric pump and Pump every two hours for 30 minutes - if you are not breast feeding directly. And, if you tried everything and nothing works, don't worry. Give formula and rest well. Your baby needs you more than anything. As long as baby is well fed and happy, there is nothing to worry about. Try to increase supply naturally - take powders like galact with milk. All the best. Pumping is not easy. I will suggest you to continue feeding directly and pump only to increase supply and when your baby is around 2 to 3 months, they'll be well trained in feeding Directly from you. So you can stop pumping.

In general itself, more milk will be produced in the early morning time and less milk will be produced in evening and night. Because of the hormones levels in body. It is normal to get less milk in night.
