Nice video and rather instructive about the route and difficulties. I miss you did not show the passage below the Couloir du Gouter, where the rock fall is getting a problem. What you show in the video does not seem difficult it he weather is so nice. But we must do not forget that forget the steep slopes on the sides of the traversed edges which requires special attention and good handling of the ice axe. Beware for those who climb without experience in the use of the ice axe.

Best footage I've seen so far! The struggle is real but you kept on pushing, well done! Made me nervous to be honest, as I'm will attempt to climb Mont Blanc in 2 weeks.

@@neverninetofive sadly Mont Blanc was impossible to summit in our planned window due to 130km/h wind, so we went to Monte Rosa instead

Salut Thomas, félicitations pour ton Mont Blanc ! J'y vais dans moins d'un mois maintenant ! Quelle caméra as-tu utilisé ? Et quelle était pour toi la partie la plus dure ? L'année dernière nous avons été stoppés à cause de la météo au refuge du gouter.

Salut et merci! J ai eu beaucoup de chance pour les conditions, j espère tu auras la même chance cette année. J ai utilisé une GoPro 10, en 4K superview 60fps, sur mon casque. Pour la partie la plus dure, c était plus la combinaison endurance et altitude. Près de 8h pour faire tête rousse > sommet. Essai de d acclimater au max, ça aidera beaucoup! Bon courage

Is this doable by someone who’s done light rock scrambles and full day hikes? I’m in great shape but no experience with crampons or ice pick.

Would do a 2 days/night high altitude training to get use to that and the technics and acclimate. As well as make sure to hire a high altitude guide

Hi Marcin! Great condition, no rockfall so far this season. So should be pretty safe for another few days. I did not record it as I passed it at night unfortunately. Enjoy the Mont Blanc trip
