I've made a video proving it works on hard mode. Hard mode has no difference other than slightly less mana. And what do you mean maitake isn't good in a large map? In a large map, it's more time for the enemies to walk meaning they can be poisoned for longer. I've found that dumpster child at level 3 and having 2 is a better alternative as it deals more damage with slightly more cost efficiency, sure. Though I really think you haven't played tower defense games too much if you didn't know about that. Frank on a large map doesn't change anything. Frank is good no matter what. It's damage to everything in range and has one of the best ranges for a melee tower in tower heroes. Frank's only drawback is a map where his mediocre range compared to every other tower (including ranged ones) doesn't cut it for some parts, and even then most maps just don't have that. Also Snowy Slopes isn't really a large map. Even Sacred Shrine and Metaverse Madness are better. Unless you're talking about the multiple exits, which we've countered with using franks at the back of the map

it's like 20-30 minutes, slightly long, but it doesn't matter if it guarantees you a win with good optimisation. in hard mode its a bigger problem as windows are much harder to manage. for normal mode it's whatever since windows are free anyway

@@FelipeKostic Find a pattern to help you keep organised. Don't mind the door, windows are top priority. You don't have to keep light on in all rooms just enough so you won't lose. My pattern is before checking door check fireplace windows then the dining room the the yellow and red rooms then the stairs then the bedroom upstairs and only do the candy room in bedroom every other check as it's far and you can survive if lights are off there. Then I I will go back to the kitchen (Purple Room)

it means you die like instantly in a blackout room with the monster i think. take that with a grain of salt though, as im not positive

I say apparently because I used this trick for a short time because then I got God's bug, that literally with that I managed to win this event. I mean, the door was bugged, it was half open; and when I interacted with it, a kid automatically came out and I already knew what it was and what option to choose, and instead a kid didn't come out, and there was only nothing, it was the anomaly. I mean, LOL. Ofc I didn't want to waste the bug xd

@@Cryoistic In my case I think that happened because I had a little lag and when I interacted with the door to give the candy to the children, I quickly clicked that option. Anyways, I was doing some more tests and yes, the trick of ignoring and opening the door still works, but possibly the event ended this weekend or next week :p

@Lu1cidplays He can only kill you if you stay in the darkness too long, so just don't stay in it for too long, and you'll be fine. But that's also why you need some flashlight uses when in the dark because it buys you time to fix fireplace and get some stuff (Ex battery's and candy bag)

What you can do to be more safe from here is have more stamina to run to the green room but that''s about it. It's not rng you just need to follow that. That place is the farthest from the green room id say so just copy it.

@@bacongaming49 just don't panic. If you're gonna protect the most important rooms (such as candy room, battery room and fireplace room), focus on THEM, not on some side rooms. Just use your flashlight carefully, or when you actually see the monsters on the windows.

sorry im late but yeah as long as time stops the next one is a kid. this was implemented to force you to give candy rather than just ignore so it works. my strategy takes advantage of the patch to avoid using sounds amd answering the door safely. just make sure time doesnt pass by (you can see the clock near the door) and if it stops you declined a kid but if it passes by you need to keep ignoring until it doesn't pass by then you can 100 % guarantee you have a kid until you open the door so make sure to restock the candy
