Maybe in good light the stc's appear slightly brighter. But in poor light there is absolutely no way dual 56mm objectives beat dual 65mm objectives. There is absolutely no way.

Jay I know this is a big request but could we get some KZbin videos on how you field judge MuleDeer? I know you have some on your instagram but I would love some videos on KZbin that go in depth about it. In my opinion (and probably everyone else who knows you) you are the best field judger in the world.

The Outdoorsmans website says that it is actually a 14.7 x 52, so the exit pupil is 3.5. 14.0 x 52 and 15 x 56 both have exit pupils of 3.7. The impression I got was that the new coatings and expanded clear field of view make the 14 x 52 NLs superior to the 15 x 56 SLCs..

I own 12x50 Field pro and 10x42 NL, NL is fantastic, and would like to have 14x NL but price is 20% higher in Taiwan and armor degradation is a issue that I ever replaced my previously owned 10x32 and 8x32 SV

In your opinion is it worth jumping from the SLC’s to the NL 14’s and why.
@GouldsTurkeyHunt3 ай бұрын
I think the 14X NL’s will replace the 15X SLC in my pack because of the wider field of view of 45 feet, the sleek and lighter weight and better edge to edge clarity. Overall better technology in the 14’s.

I was guiding western hunts in 2001 and bought the 8x50 SLC that year. I also have the 12x42 NL Pure which are technically "far" superior but in real life our SLCs from 2001 remain fantastic and easily better than 90 percent of what's out there today.

Absolutely 100% true , great comment, like anything in life you get what you pay for , think Ferrari , Snap on , Rolex , speaking as a lifelong professional birder there is NOTHING comes close to my NL and my EL before them , ATX scopes are the best by a mile too, I get to use all the worlds best optics on a daily basis and believe me Leica ( rubbish all made in the cheap in Portugal) and once mighty Zeiss ( now virtually all made even cheaper in china ) are a million miles away from the ergonomics and optical engineering of swaro
