i am kinda confuse at 6:16. in this situation, i will pull the left handle upward and push the right handle downard to carry move speed while aiming my line of descent. pressure is needed on both side though. because of g force and the down gravity. the pressure will be more naturally higher on right arm making the right arm more stiff and stable while the left arm is pulling in moderation. not and expert here but doing downhill sometimes.

I commented on GCN in December that IPT was going to be exciting to watch in 2024. Well done boys! There's more out there for you. Go get it.

Fantastic win by Steve Williams! Everyone who finished the race deserves credit and has shown true metal. Normal winter weather in Wales for Steve Williams and even in summer when a bad weather front passes over Wales it can be very cold and wet. Great to see you Daryl and your colleagues in the team car enjoying the moment. All the combined teamwork you guys have produced at IPT has paid off over the last few years. I believe that the best is yet to come from Steve Williams and the other talented cyclists at IPT. Respect and hats off to all you guys at IPT.

I am practicing descent almost a month now. Thanks for all good points, I also not confident and always had a late braking before the corner BUT I am leaning towards a safer side since I am not racing. Little by little we can do the full enough speed in proper corner. Cheers!

thanks Daryl and Robbie. It was great listening to this chat. It was flippen hard to race in Europe as a Saffa. If a race was outside of the Schengen treaty states yo'ud have to apply for visas. Based in NL made it a little easier but the level was moerse high and the club level I reckon the muti was widely used. Above that level there was more controls but you were up against a huge amount of talent and "talent". Kudos for making it and being great ambassadors for SA
