That’s great dude! I started playing back when some of my friends wanted to start a band and needed someone to play bass. I thought why not I’d give it a go, and I’ve loved it ever since.

cool! I started 4 months ago when I fell in love with Andy Rourke’s bass from the Smiths. Equipments are quite cheap but I still like how cool the bass sounds.

When I listen to a new band I always find their bassline! (Recently r the stone roses, Japan and RHCP) Some of them may be easy but pretty fun to play :-)

@@ヵフヵ dude that’s awesome! It’s quite tough I used to use my ring finger all the time but have slowly gotten better at using my pinky finger to hit those far away notes.

@@reichencusack the only method for me to reach the notes rn in 3:20 is to flip my hand 🎸 🫴(normally you hold ur bass like this) 🫳（3:20) 🎸’s fretboard (this is how I reach the notes （and Idk how to describe it 😭 i take my hand out and directly press on the notes ahhhh

May I recommend ‘The Con’ by Teagan and Sara, the bass in verse 2 is especially good. I know you could do it and improvise on the parts missing glorious bass. ✨💝🎆
