@ZahlendreherMatt I am, for two main reasons. I want whatever I do to be accessible to the most number of players, including those who may be new and just don't have a Wild collection. Which (#2) includes me! While I'm not fully free to play, I pretty much only purchase the battle pass and SOMEtimes a prerelease bundle. In order to have as much of a Standard collection as I can, I dust most cards pretty much as soon as they hit Wild. Generally I only keep legendaries because they'd be so expensive to recraft, and maybe the occasional epic that fits a specific strategy I like, so they might be usable for PvE content in the future. So absolutely feel free to take the core idea of the deck and do whatever you want with it, especially if there are Wild cards that are just perfect for it

@@Turantula I see. Fair enough! Still: this card is only rare (=cheap to craft) and has helped me with SO many achievements in the past! So anybody reading these comments for ideas to shorten the grind: give it a try if you like! I consider this card an essential for achievement hunters.

@welkijken I can't take credit for the idea itself. I'm worried about surviving solo honour mode so I'm looking up all sorts of tricks and interactions. For the record, a similar thing exists for oil barrels. If you bust them open you'll spill oil that you can then light to cause a fire, but if you bust them open *with fire*, 💥

Zola would probably be a good substitute for Kodobane. I'm not convinced that Cover Artist would be worth it though. Also, in all fairness, none of these so far have been tricky really. Just grindy

That is a good point, and I did forget that Mes'Adune even existed. That being said, (a) Mage certainly does have access to four return cards. Youthful and Saloon Brewmasters, so nearly as many as THIS deck (though Rogue does have other options I didn't include, in part because I don't want THAT many bounce cards in my deck). And Mes'Adune could indeed grant you another use if you draw it first, which is essentially a 50/50 shot. It's not a bad way to go! I think I like the Rogue version better, but also I think it's better to focus on the other achievements first and just put Zephrys in all your decks until you make it (or if you do get all the other achievements then maybe use something like one of these options to finish Planned to Perfection off)

@Briancjw I did not know about that at all. Unfortunately since I dust most of my cards when they rotate, it would be very expensive for me to go looking for Wild achievements. I won't be touching those

@@Turantula I'm almost done with the sun screen achievement. I might try hand-buff paladin next for the rest of the octo-masseuse achievement with dance floor location. Edit: Hand-buff worked wonders. if you haven't finished the achievement already I definitely recommend trying it out.

@denizakgun6018 I did manage to finish it using sunscreen Paladin. I got lucky and one opponent could never remove my masseuse so he just kept getting bigger. I.....may have let that game go on long after I could have won in order to complete the achievement

Hah it's counterintuitive for sure, as you wouldn't typically play her without having transformed her. Though it could happen naturally if you're down to top-decking. I bet, given the size of the player base, there's some person out there who was shocked to ding the achievement when they cast a raw Carress

@denizakgun6018 honestly most of my games are just to complete the daily and weekly quests. I spend much more time on BG3, but that's still really sweet and I appreciate the sentiment

I know where to go when I'm a stuck (or compare to see how you achieved it give some feedback). Excellent work, keep it up. Whenever I'll be stuck on a achievement I know where to check ! I guess Mercenaries was not really intended for HS playerbase.

She tried two and then failed the save to not consume the Astral. I didn't want this for her but hey just Honour Mode things

I'm so glad it helped! Yeah there's always the risk that someone might be running weapon removal, but so far this meta I've barely seen any being used. That's just my personal experience though.

I imagine you're using Chemical Spill to cheat out the Zilliax then Inventor dude to make sure copies dies so when you do the Hydration Station you summons All Zilliax All The Time? Perfectly valid! I just don't think of using a different class along with the current class' tourist because it's a little counterintuitive to me. Except in the case of the Announce Darkness achievement but I didn't have the Warlock Tourist so I couldn't do it anyway

I am not. I do buy the (larger but not both) prepurchase bundle and also the tavern pass. I don't buy additional packs beyond that though, and when the mini-set comes out I'll be using gold. I do this because I want to be able to have access to enough cards to make all the achievements possible with a minimum of crafting.

@@ZsomborBaka you know, I was not even aware of this card lol. I tend to explore my collection by keywords and I haven’t been looking for Discover cards much. It feels like it would be about as useful as dredging for finding a particular card (with the potential upside of finding more than one card that you need soon but that could also disrupt your draw for the next three turns if you don’t discover the cards you need at the time). I think this card has potential, but should be paired with available shuffle effects in case you’re not happy with all of the discovers

@@ZsomborBaka I thought about it a little more and I see some achievement specific utility here. If the Fortune legendary shows up in the discovers you can refuse to pick in the hopes that you get the creation protocol (or one of the Fortunes you’ve already got if you were unlucky like me in the beginning) first. Where it can be tricky is: Once you have access to a Fortune you can TRY to put the target in the top three cards, but if you miss those discoveries now you know the next three cards AREN’T what you’re looking for (and that’s where you would want something that shuffles but does not draw). It can definitely be a useful tool, but should be handled with care

I got that on first try actually by using ramp druid deck with zilliax (with reborn) and Fye in the deck, if that can help :)

@@KrisIsk I'm definitely in favor of combining achievements where possible! I just don't want to accidentally lock myself out of being able to make a video for one by completing it before I'm ready. A big reason why I make the videos for the most generic neutral ones first. Who's in Charge looks like a fun one to try to maximize
