@@Slowfi_wrx ya I do as well but as long as you keep the black ones you can always switch back. Just gotta find the motivation and the mood to do it again lol personally I’m gonna take my stock ones and sand them down than paint them a matte black next spring 🤘🏼

How’s your STI spoiler holding up? I just installed mine last night but was pissed the entire bottom and crevasses where the bolts go in were not painted.. tried emailing them with no response.. the install was quite difficult as after making the first drill hole it didn’t line up to the template they sent me. Not to mention I had to hold the spoiler myself and try to hand tighten the first couple bolts, Definitely had to finesse it…

@@peteypetepeep had to modify it had to cut a bit off each side on the bottom to slide it in, it’s not really meant for extra rigidity it’s honestly just for looks anyway

@@OOOnanana I got it from eBay it was about $24 and it was pretty easy just have to remove the bolts and clips on the top of front bumper and the couple clips on the sides in the wheel well and pull bumper forward to install

@@javierluna6845 absolutely but I’d recommend getting an extra clear coat for extra protection they scratch pretty fast if you watched the video you will see I barely dropped one of the flares and it scratched bad

NGL, I think the black bits looked better with the black hood and side skirts. Gloss black fender flares and lower bumpers would look great.

I mean the wrx is a very practical car for having kids especially if you only have one or two. I traded in my challenger for my 16 wrx when I had my second kid. Plus I'm ohio it's great year round and gets good mpg.

Dude your Subie sounds absolutely amazing, I have a Subaru WRX 2018 and I would like to install the unequal length headers too, but I wonder if I need to tune my car after that and if this modification can affect (damage) the engine of the car or any other thing. Please let me know cause I don't know anybody out there how have done this before and I guess that you already have the knowledge and the experience to give me the best advice.

I’ve been told by a tuner and the mechanic that installed my uelh that it’s not necessary to tune it after installing it but it’s always recommended just to be on the safe side. I never had an issue with anything! No check engine light or any performance issues what so ever. Even the dude that purchased the car after me loves it and has no issues. If your looking to do it I highly recommend it. The sound and quality I got from it was very clean. I love it and always recommend it to anyone looking for that ej rumble. It’s not 100% exactly the same sound but very close

Nothing extra everything that needs to be done to it comes with the kit, and loss of any kind of power is so minimal that you won’t even notice it! I only lost 5 hp

I'm in the market for a sti/wrx, I'm not into racing/performance and just wanted a fun car to drive around with some kick, if it really doesnt affect your engine I might just end up getting a WRX instead. I am also in south east michigan. How much did your service end up costing? with installing and tuning

It cost $750 for the headers and I paid about $500 for install and I did E-tune it was $350, definitely recommend it I love the sound the video doesn’t do it justice. The sound is amazing with a deep rumble I love it it’s been about 7 months and no issues ✊🏼
