Aw man very cute! We just had a Pidgeon nest on our apartment balcony a few months ago. I should have taken a video while they were still there. They left the nest a couple weeks ago though.

From my experience seagulls won't go into anything where they feel they might get trapped, even things like putting garden furniture over food can be a deterrent.

For some reason youtube recommends me these videos witrh 50-500 views. This is one of the better ones, if this was 2009 I'd rate it solid 4/5 stars. I am interested in the fate of this seagull. Keep us posted.

It’s a new algorithm that promotes videos based on interest and viewer clusters instead of channel size, there’s channels that gor millions of views on their first vid cuz it was good entertainment quality

Seagulls seem dumb. A crow would have figured it out :)

They are a very cruel bird they kill chick's and baby rabbits etc wich is leading to the decline of small birds, etc, and they make a horrible noise .
@freda64642 ай бұрын
They are not my favourite birds so try not to encourage them, keeping them off my bird table with a grill that only allows in the smaller birds. I have to do that to keep the seagulls off as well. But unfortunately we have a lot of magpies (and seagulls and pigeons) around and the last couple of years the magpies have been nesting in a neighbour's tree which is where I think this particular bird was coming from.

👍👍👍 Fascinating. I think Magpies are beautiful. I featured one on the March page of my 2024 Photo Portfolio calendar: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJesXnWtmtVnfaMsi=4Atkfz4WzQwLHp2E I'm surprised your Magpie wasn't able to pull the dish itself closer to the hole. Maybe the dish is too heavy. Thanks for sharing! 👍👍👍

The young magpies seem to have gone but the pair nesting in the tree in my neighbour's garden are still around as I saw an adult go to the nest just now. As I am just seeing the one, might well be the other is brooding eggs? Time will tell.
