I’ve never understood why mark doesn’t do backing vocals in the chorus of Cry of Achilles live. I feel like the harmony is what makes the chorus work!

Usually it's one of two reasons: 1) Many times in the studio a guitar player records his/her guitar parts and vocals separately and some parts are just too much to play together live. OR 2) The vocals are slightly out of the singer's range. They're able to slide the notes in the studio where they can rest their voice the next day if needed but the notes are too much to hit night after night.

@@Spladoinkal yeah but it’s neither in this case. The guitar part is very easy, I mean Myles plays it, and the lower harmony is well in Marks range.
